My life is a garden of dissonant daisies
Daft dandelions and lilies so lazy
The bluebonnets bumble more than the bees
That dart throughout their honey tree
The roses rave and rant and rage
Their roots locking them in a standstill cage
The moonflowers murmur, the sunflowers scream
The daffodils doodle and dawdle and dream
The purple pansies pluck their petals
The worms wiggle while the ladybugs cuddle
The evergreens watch them all wilt when it snows,
And until summer returns, there is only prose.
