I wish that night would come again
So I could catch it
Like a speck of snow
With ice crystals jutting out uniquely, but softly
So I can watch the room unfold around us again
Two skinny-lovers clothed in serendipity
Corsages blooming, eyes and glitter gleaming
And then I was a girl with curls and pale skin
I thought I was dreaming
When you took me in your arms
And my eyes sizzled into yours
As you gazed into them.
We were a masterpiece
Of lavender and brown and blue,
Invisible colors too
And the artist was you.
