The sky is a pale blue blanket
The sun a glowing diamond
The early morning's diadem
And the clouds meander by
Like cotton sheep in an azure pasture
The branches of the near-winter trees
Reach up to them, but they are too far away
The ground is covered in crimson leaves
That crackle like fire and shine just as bright
And in the comfort of my old brick house,
I am wrapped in warmth
Earbuds blooming with music that fluctuates
And wobbles and weaves
Before a glowing screen
No worries cluttering my mind
Peace has finally found me
Here where serenity surrounds
