Fragile ecosystems hide
Residing in the dusty spaces between
City skyscrapers, created by
Kids whose hoods drape over
Their faces, the silhouettes
Who turn cobwebbed corners
Into rainforest of color and
Masterpieces from spray cans
They must be careful
Men in blue and white cars zoom by
Their sirens blaring, their eyes glaring
Ready to tear any forest to shreds
And lock its creator in prison til they're dead
They said to express yourself
And make the world bright
But I guess that's not really
What they meant.
