When I look at your reflection,
All I see is perfection
Don't worry about rejection
Don't listen to the kids at school
Who think they rule, who use you as a tool
Because really they're just fools
They may try to fill you with pain
But they don't have anything to gain
From your cries, from your disdain
They may try to use your tears
As medicine to kill their fears
The ignorance they've been taught for years
They see you as a mirror on a wall
Complaining to you about their own flaws
They feel horrible about themselves, don't we all
These days were hating yourself is the norm
When you look into the mirror it's a sin to feel warm
Think anything but awful thoughts like storms
When you look at your reflection,
Notice the perfections, not the flaws
Beauty
Has
No
