"Come here" he grabs my hand and pulls me towards him and I thump into his chest, laughing
"I love you" he mumbles into my hijab and I feel his chest vibrate
"I love you too"
"So much" he adds
"So much" I repeat looking up at him

He is literally the most beautiful man on the planet

"Cheers for the help down there by the way" he comments looking down at me
"I knew you had it you didn't need my help" I shrug and he rolls his eyes sarcastically
"I can't tell if Kaisar hates me or not"
"Ugh trust me he's just being a stuck up older brother, you're fine"
"Hmmmm"
"What did he say to you just before?" I ask
"Nothing, just told me not to hurt you otherwise he'll shove my curls up my arse" 
My eyes widen, "what?"
"His words not mine" he shrugs

We stare at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter
"What did you say to that" I ask between laughs
"I told him you'd probably do that before he could"
"You're not wrong" I smirk
We stay in silence for a couple moments just looking at each other, I can feel his eyes searching mine as if he can read the thoughts running through my mind.

He repositions his arms around my waist, "What's up?"
"Hmm?" I ask not knowing what he's referring to exactly
"Somethings up, tell me"
"It's nothing don't worry about it" I play with his hair to make him forget but it totally doesn't work
"If we're gonna get married you have to tell me whenever you're upset, it's not like you can hide it from me anyways I can see it in your eyes"
I sniffle and look down, "it's just... I don't get what you meant when you said you weren't ready for me a year ago"
His arms around my waist loosen and I feel a pit on my stomach, for which the reason, I'm not sure why.

He puts his hands on either side of my face and smiles slightly, "I only said that because you deserve the absolute most and I knew I wasn't in the mental headspace to provide that to you back then but realising how much I couldn't live without you..." he stops and sighs, "babe I just want to give you everything and make you the happiest girl"
My features soften and it feels like my heart just melted, "really?"
He grins and nods his head, "really"

I throw my bag on the floor next to my bed and take my hijab off, easing the strain on my hair.
I've just drove back from my parents house and dropped Harris off at home and now I need a cup of tea after such an eventful, stressful day.

I change into a random pair of leggings and hoodie and throw my clothes into my laundry basket. Just as I'm turning the kettle on I hear my phone ringing from the sofa. I switch the kettle on and quickly run to my phone to see who it is

Oh, I kind of forgot about him. After debating whether I should answer or not my phone stops ringing. I bite the inside of my lip and decide to call back because it could be an emergency you never know. He picks up as soon as I ring him.

"Why didn't you pick up the first time?"
"I was in the kitchen, what do you want?"
I hear the kettle finish boiling so I walk over to the kitchen to make my cup of tea.
"I want you mans to be at our wedding init" I snort at his road man language, I could never imagine Harris speaking like that
"Who exactly are we talking about" I inquire
"You and Hassan innit"
I narrow my eyes, "Harris"
"Yeah same guy innit, anyways are you going to come then?" I stay silent because I'm still making my mind up

"Sarah wants you there" he adds, "she really likes you"
"I'll come for her" I state
"And for me"
"Just for her"
He sighs, "don't forget to bring your boyfriend, I'll text you the time and stuff"
I roll my eyes and decide against telling him he's my fiancé now, "that's fine, bye"

I hang up and take my tea and slice of cake in front of the tv and enjoy an episode of Bridgerton. I don't think Harris would approve of me ogling over The Duke but we're not married yet so it doesn't matter.

I'm still trying to get to grips with the fact that me and Harris are getting married. It's been nearly two years since I met him and our journey definitely hasn't been easy but I can confidently say it's been worth it.
