"You know her?" The guy asks causing us to break eye contact with each other
"Bro can you go now?" Harris says in an irritated tone
"Fine" he says making a face before turning around to go back to his friends, muttering something like 'I could've had her' under his breath

"So this is your surprise huh?" He smiles with his dimple and I instantly melt
"Yeah my dad got it for me as a birthday present" I smile excitedly, "get in, let's go"
I eagerly wait for him to get in my car so I can show off to him.
"So we're going shopping?" He confirms clicking his seatbelt into place and I nod my head before driving off

"I really missed you, you know" I comment turning out of his street onto the main road
He chuckles turning his head towards me, "I knew you would"
I scoff, "Cheeky! You missed me too didn't you?"
He laughs, "More than you know"

Okay did anyone else's heart literally skip a beat?

"So I didn't know you wore traditional clothing too?" He raises an eyebrow
"I don't usually but my mum got them for me so I wanted to wear them for her" I reply
"Well aren't you just a sweet sweet daughter" he jokes in a fake accent and I roll my eyes
"No one thinks that accent is funny except you darling"

"Can we go eat somewhere now, please?" He whines for the third time
"Let me just get myself some shoes and then we can go" I repeat for also the third time
"You said that last time" he grumbles like a little five-year-old child

I drag him by his arm to a nearby store and search through the heels looking for a certain pair. When I don't see them I huff, making it clear I'm very pissed off.
"What's wrong with you?" Harris laughs and I turn to give him the eyes
"I can't find the heels I came for" I sulk
He laughs again, "don't be such a drama queen they'll be here just look harder"

And then he just walks away
Excuse me? You're meant to be helping me??

After a couple of minutes he wanders back towards me with a pair of heels in his hands.
"Are they these ones?" He holds them up and I narrow my eyes at him
"Zara?" He snaps his fingers in front of me
"How did you know?" I ask still narrowing my eyes and he smirks
"I got skills"

Once we get to the till the woman serving us keeps looking at Harris and before we leave she winks at him
"Okay are you kidding me? Right in front of me?" I say quite pissed off
"Huh" he looks around like he's not really concentrated on the conversation
I scoff, "okay"

I walk faster to lose him but he fastens his pace and stops me before I walk any further
"Okay tell me what happened" he places his two hands on my shoulders
"She winked at you! Did you find these heels with her help? Did you do something for them in return huh?" I question
"Zara are you kidding me? I cannot tell her stop winking at me cause if that's what she wants to do that's what she will do!" He argues

"Well how did you know these were the ones?" I say holding up my bag and he sighs rubbing his temples
"These heels that you like were very popular and that worker who winked at me said they'd definitely be these ones and they had a couple left in the back and that's how I got them" he explains

Okay I feel bad now

I sigh, "I'm sorry okay" I smile at him and he chuckles lightly
"Hey, I can take your mood swings" he shrugs, "So... Nando's?"

I nod my head and he grins, this boy and his Nando's.

Right now we're just sat in my car with the windows down, looking straight out at the sky in front of us.
"Random question..." I begin and he turns his head towards me, "Where is this going?"

I immediately regret asking the question because now it seems like we're about to have a serious conversation.
"What is 'this'?" He asks air quoting the word 'this'
"Me and you obviously" I reply in an obvious tone

He turns his whole body towards me, "where do you want this to go?"
"I don't know, it's not your fault but I just feel weird. Not weird about us but weird about everything I don't know how to explain it"
"And now you feel like "us", at this moment in time, feels out of place?" He attempts to finish off my sentence and I nod my head

"Okay listen, when we decided to try us as a couple, I said it because I want to see a future with you. I'm not in it for 'fun' because I'm 21 and I wanna be married soon and I honestly see that life with you. I don't want to scare you but you asked where this was going"

I look at him like I've just seen ghost because nobody has ever felt like that towards me so it raises the question, is he being serious or is he lying?

"Well?" He pauses, "...what do you think?"

I just nod my head simply and smile.
