"They should be here any minute now" Jason looks up from his laptop
We were all currently waiting on the delivery of each product from my clothing line because they were officially done.
"I'm so nervous" I pace around the studio rubbing my hands together

The doorbell rings and Jason gives me a look before going through the door out to the front to receive the parcel. He comes back after a couple of minutes with a cardboard box about the size of a flat screen TV.

"Okay open it quickly, I can't deal with the suspense" I tell him and he laughs before ripping open the tape with his keys.
He pushes the box towards me, "would you do the honours"

I put my hand in the box and pull out a thick material, knowing it's one of my jumpers. I unfold the piece of clothing and hold it infront of me to inspect it.

It was the oversized turtle neck jumper dress which came in three colours.
"Oh my god I love it" I say clutching it to my chest and hugging
"Lets have a look at the rest before you start celebrating" Alice says as they all pull out a piece of clothing

After 20 minutes of inspection we conclude that we are happy with the results which only means one thing... launch night is coming soon!

"So when do you want the launch party to be" Farhan asks closing the box and putting it to one side
"Well since my clothing line is wintery and it's winter right now, why don't we do it like the week after next?" I suggest
"So you want a winter theme?" Jason asks typing away at his laptop

He seriously is attached to that laptop it's unhealthy

"Yeah like winter wonderland" I reply, "ish"
"Ooooh I'm excited" Alice squeals earning a smile from me
"Well let's get to planning then" Farhan claps his hands
"Date?" Jason asks
"Friday the 20th December?" He nods his head

Whilst we're planing the party, I get a text from Kaisar

Wow he never texts me

Hey! How are you - Kaisar

I'm okay? Are you? You never text me - Me

I'm just checking in on you what's wrong with that - Kaisar

Yeah I'm good what's up - Me

Well I have news - Kaisar

Oooh what is it? - Me

The wedding week starts next week - Kasiar

OMG what day - Me

Monday is the mehndi but we need you from Saturday onwards to Thursday - Kasiar

Ffs my launch party is on Saturday :/ - Me

So what do we do? - Kasiar

I can get the party done and be at yours by Saturday night? - Me

If you're sure - Kaisar

Yes I am, let mum and dad know - Me

Okay - Kaisar

"Guys can we move the party a little earlier on in the day?" I ask, "say about 4pm?"
"Why?" Alice asks
"It's my brother's wedding next week and my parents want me over the weekend" I explain
"Okay but no earlier than 4" Jason says typing away

A couple of hours and 20 phone calls later, the party is planned and everything has been booked.
"So we can leave early?" I ask full of hope
Jason laughs sarcastically "No"
"Yes we can" Alice says gathering her things, "actually before we go, me and Jason have something to tell you"

I look at Jason who doesn't seem very interested
"What?" Farhan asks
Alice looks at Jason and takes her hand into his, "we're engaged"

My eyes dart to her left hand which shows an engagement ring resting on her ring finger and my eyes widen
I clear me throat, "Erm congratulations I'm so happy for you" I lean forward to give her a hug
"Didn't know you guys were that serious" Farhan comments

Trust Farhan to speak his mind

"We don't tell you everything" Jason replies bluntly
"Well I'll see you guys tomorrow" Farhan says taking his stuff and leaving
"I'll go put the stuff in the car" Alice says leaving me with Jason

"Can I ask you something?" I say when I hear Alice close the door
"What?" Jason asks
"No offence but you don't seem happy about the whole... engagement thing"
"What makes you say that?"
"When Alice told us, you didn't even smile and we've never seen you guys be close or affectionate" I explain
"Like I said before, we don't tell you everything" he dismisses
"Okay listen to me Jason" I drag his arm and sit him back down, "Alice is my friend and I swear to god if you hurt her I will break you legs"

"I'm not gonna hurt her" I say pulling his arm out of my grasp, "there's a reason why I don't show off my love for her in public
"And why's that?" I ask crossing my arms
"Every time I make her blush or make her smile it makes me happy and I can't be seen being soppy and all that shit I have a reputation you know" he scowls

I don't say anything, instead I just stare at him with admiration
"What?" He mutters looking away
"You're so cute" I gush trying to pinch his cheeks but he pushes my hands away

I laugh when his cheeks turn red
"Are you ready t-" Alice walks into the room but she stops when she sees me laughing at Jason, "what's going on here?"

I reach my hands out to her and she holds them both,
"Ahhh nothing" I sigh, "I'm just telling Jason how cute you guys are"
"Thank you" she smiles gratefully

"Well" I clap my hands, "I've gotta go, I'll see you soon"
"Oh by the way Zara, the shoot for Baroque is tomorrow remember" Jason reminds me and I nod my head indicating I haven't forgot
I grab my bag and walk out as Alice screams that she'll text me

I walk out of the studio and as I turn the corner to where my car is parked but slow my pace when I see Harris leaning against it.
He looks up at me and grins when he hears my heels on the ground
"Hey what are you doing here?" I ask slowly walking towards him

"What?" He pouts, "no hug first?"
I smile and hug him, "okay, so what gives?" I ask putting my hands on my hips
"I just wanted to come see you and besides I was bored at home" he shrugs
"Well, I'd like to go home please I have an early start tomorrow" I push him slightly to get into my car

"What's going on tomorrow" he asks inviting himself into my passenger seat
"I have a photo shoot with Baroque" I explain reversing out of my parking space
"Can I come along, I have fuck all to do tomorrow" he asks, almost begs
"I have to be there by 9am" I warm
"As long as you pick me up" he winks
I chuckle, "be ready by quarter past 8"

"Where you going G?" He asks as I turn towards my apartment blocks
"Home?" I reply in an obvious tone
"And how will I get home?" He asks cheekily, "or do you want me in your bed tonight"

"How will I get home" I repeat mockingly, "I'll throw you to the streets if you carry on like that"

He laughs as I turn back onto the Main Street, he's literally gonna be the death of me
