"Don't embarrass me in front of her, please?"
"Kasiar she's gonna be my sister-in-law, I can embarrass you after marriage" I reply smirking

Except he can't see my smirk because we're talking over the phone
"Hang up now, you need to go get ready so you can get here in time" he says before hanging up on me

I put my phone down and sigh, what do I wear?

I mean obviously I have to wear asian but I don't know which ones to wear. Story of my life.

I end up wearing a baby pink and white shalwar kameez and a white hijab. My makeup is a simple look with hints of pink on the eyes and I finish the look with a pair of white heels.

Just as I'm about to fall a taxi my phone pings

Harris: hey, what you getting up to today

Me: I am going to meet my soon to be sister-in-law what about you?

Harris: I haven't got anything planned, how you getting there?

Me: I'm gonna get a taxi to my dad's and then we're gonna all go from there

Harris: are you sure you wanna take a taxi there?

Me: yeah, why?

Harris: I'll tell you what, give me ten minutes and I'll drop you off

Me: oh no no no don't worry about it, you don't have to do that!

Harris: already in my car, I'll see you in ten

I huff and throw my phone on my bed, why does no one ever listen to me?!
I text Kaisar to let him know that I'll be there soon and wait for Harris to come.

A couple of minutes later I hear a knock at my door. I get up to answer the door and see Harris stood there with a smile on his face. I roll my eyes,
"You really don't have to do this"

"I know I don't, get your bag so we can go" he replies and I chuckle grabbing my bag and phone before locking the door behind me
Once we get to his car, he holds the door open for me like the gentleman he is

We get on the road and he lowers the music,
"I was actually enjoying that, why did you have to turn it down?"
"I need to tell you something" he says a little serious and I nod my head

Is he in love with me?

"No why would you say that?" He laughs
Did I say that out loud?!
My eyes widen as I cringe, "Sorry"
"Don't worry about it" he says putting a hand on my leg and take a breath

Why is he doing that??
Does he want me to fall in love with him?!

"Anyways, remember when I told you that I'm a singer?" He begins and I nod my head humming in response
"Well I used to be a nasheed artist and I kind of stopped doing that recently" he explains and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion
"You did nasheeds?" I ask
"Yeah"
"Have I heard you anywhere?" I try to rack my brain for anything

"Hold on" he pushes a few buttons and then music starts

I want it all I want it now...

"I've heard this! It's really good!" A lightbulb lights up in my brain, "this is you?"
"It was me" he confirms turning it off
"Wow I didn't know"

"So recently I've been working on something new and it's actually a song" he further explains
I guess he's waiting for a reaction because he doesn't say anything for a while
"So what made you decide that you wanted to do music?" I ask, intrigued

"I know it's a big thing going from nasheeds to music and I don't really know if it's the right way to go but I was just swayed towards it" he shrugs
"Is it something that you want to do as a career of something you want just for yourself?"
"That's what I'm unsure about" he admits

I can't believe he's being so real with me when we haven't even known each other for long

Just as I'm about give him advice we reach my dad's house and I sigh
"Can we carry this on later?" I ask and he nods

I smile at him,
"Thank you so much for this" I put my hand on his before I realise what I've just done
I move my hand off his but he holds onto it,
"You're welcome"

He smiles with his dimples and I swear I melted in a puddle right there. I blush before getting out of his car and walk into my house.
"Zara is that you?" I hear my dad
"Yea dad it's me" I walk into the kitchen, following his voice
"Let's go, come on" Kaisar says grabbing his car keys and shooing us out the door

"It was really nice to meet you" Maira smiles
"Likewise" I reply hugging her before walking out of their house
I notice Kaisar blow her a kiss and I roll my eyes with a smile. He can be really cheesy when he wants to be

"So do you like her?" Kaisar asks opening the car door for me
"Yea she's perfect for you" he grins at my reply

He takes me back to my apartment and I kiss my mum and dad goodbye and then run up to my apartment.

I get ready for bed and fall asleep straight away.
