"So you want me with you at the release time?" I confirm
It was currently half ten and we'd been sitting on the roof since half eight
"Yeah well I mean, you're really important to me and this song is really important to me" he explains as my stomach flutters
"Wouldn't you rather be with your friends and family?" I fiddle with my hoodie

I always get awkward in situations where I don't know anyone expect one person
"We'll all be at my house, it's only gonna be a couple of my close friends and my brothers and you" and I sigh, "I would really love it if you came?"

He looks at me with sad eyes and my heart melts,
"No that's not fair! You can't use them eyes on me" I pout pushing his shoulder and he laughs
"Come on babyyyyyy, for meeeeeee" he says pulling me into a hug

"Fine, just for you" I give in and wrap my hands around his neck pulling him in closer

I stare at myself through the FaceTime screen, tapping my foot impatiently,
"Come on Come on" I mutter to myself
"Hey Zaraaaaaaa" I finally hear after what felt like ten minutes
"Hey Adaaaaaam" I grin, I really did miss his face
"So you said you had news for me?" He asks and I nod my head, "well I have news too"

"You first" I say
"No you first"
"No, you"
"Yo-"

"Oh for gods sake I'll go first!" Slim pops out of nowhere and I laugh
"Hey Sliiiiiiiim"
"Hey, hows it going" he asks and I nod my head
"It's going" I simply reply and he laughs, "so, your news?"

Adam looks at Slim and Slim looks at Adam
"We're coming to the UK soon" Adam says and my eyes widen
"Oh my god, are you really?" I ask super excited and they nod their heads laughing
"Oh I can't wait I've missed you loads! When are you coming?" I ask eagerly
"We land next Friday at quarter past 8" Adam replies and I inwardly groan
"Oh I'm so sorry I can't come" I rub my eyes
"Aww no why?" Slim pouts
"I've just got something to do" I lie

Well technically it's not lying, I have to meet Harris so I just missed some information out.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Adam challenges and I furrow my eyebrows and pout in an attempt to avoid answering his question but he's having none of it
"Fine! I'm gonna be with Harris" I mumble blushing a tiny bit
"So that's serious now yeah?" Slim asks making me a blush a tiny bit harder
"Well, not serious, just... getting close" I try my best to explain
"Since when?" I Adam asks a little confused to which I reply, "my birthday"

We talked for a some time longer before I had to leave because I had to go do some grocery shopping before it got too late and they closed

I grab a pair of mom jeans and a black body top. I already had makeup on from when I was at work today so I wrap my black hijab around my head and put on my favourite fluffy cardigan. I grab my bag and shove my phone, keys and purse and slip my vans on before running out of the door.

I park in my usual area in ASDA's car park and get out of my car. I grab a trolley and walk through ASDA literally throwing the unhealthiest of things into my trolley which isn't the best idea because I'm just gonna end up putting on 30 pounds over the course of three days.

"Zara?" Someone calls from behind me, and I must say it was an unfamiliar voice
I turn around and see quiet an attractive man smiling at me

Do I know you babes?

"Hey! How are you?" He proceeds to speak to me like we've known each other for years and by the look on my face I take he realises I don't recognise him
He laughs, "Ali? Ali Youssef?"
"Shiiiiiiit, oh my god how are you!" Realisation hits me and a cringe inwardly at how I didn't recognise him
"Apart from the fact that Zara doesn't remember me anymore, yeah I'm good" he jokes and I laugh along with him
"So what are you up to now?" We begin walking around as I finish my shop
"I'm on the last stages of training as a doctor" he explains
"No way! That's so cool well done!" I nudge him slightly and he laughs
"So what about you?" He clears his throat, "anyone... erm special?"

I laugh to myself, never would have believed Ali Youssef would ask me if I'm single. I mean I wasn't the cutest in high school.

"Erm... yeah kind of?" It comes out as a question rather than a statement
"Oh yeah never mind" he waves his hand and an awkward cloud hangs above us before I break it

"Well look it was nice seeing you but it's getting late I've gotta go" I smile at him and he nods his head, saying our goodbyes he turns into the next aisle and I make my way to the till

Once I get home I put all my shopping away and get ready for bed, I have a busy day tomorrow

Just before I'm about to go to sleep I get a text from Harris

Hey, we haven't spoken all day and it made me realise you're best thing about life right now, sweet dreams baby x - Harris

I swear butterflies have been camping in my stomach ever since I met Harris

And on that note, I closed my eyes and let sleep take over me
