"We're going out for your birthday tonight" My dad repeats for the tenth time today and I chuckle
I've been at my parents for four days now and they decided that they wanted to take me me out for my birthday because we hadn't been out this time around because of my launch party.

"If this is your way of reminding me to have a bath, I'll get out of your hair" I smile getting up, not forgetting to take my phone
"Don't be later than 7!" My dad shouts as I'm halfway up the stairs

I walk down the hallway into my room and take out a pair of nighties. I reach for my hairbrush but my phone starts ringing. I look at my phone screen which has several notifications from Adam, Naz, Slim and Harris.

I leave it on my bedside table, face down and rush into the bath.
An hour and a half later I'm out the bathroom and I've just been sat on my bed with a towel on my head for 15 minutes. I still don't know what to wear.

"Why're you just staring into space?" Kasiar walks in
"I don't know what to wear" I dramatically throw myself on my bed and he chuckles at me

"You do your makeup and I'll choose you something to wear" he instructs walking over to my wardrobe that looks like an absolute mess
"How can I match my makeup with my clothes if I don't even know what you're gonna chose for me?"
"Start on it at least!" He rolls his eyes, "do your face and stuff"

I laugh at him before beginning to dry my hair and then I start on my makeup and he still hasn't got my clothes out. I prepare my skin and once I'm done, Kaisar has picked and outfit.
"Thank you" I smile at him
"I'm saving everyone some drama so it was worth it" he replies and I give him a fake hurt look
"You know it's true" he laughs as he walks out my room

I look at my outfit consisting of a yellow/mustard wrap blouse which is a colour I never wear and a pair of black skinny jeans.

I do a gold smokey eye kind of look and decide to go bold with a red lip. I really am all about the colours today huh.

I wrap my usual black hijab around my head and secure it with a pin just as my mum is walking in through my door.
"We're already 20 minutes late, hurry up" she flaps before rushing out the door
I slip into some simple black heels and grab my back that has my phone, a mirror and my lipstick.

"Okay I'm ready" I call as I walk down the stairs and Kaisar rolls his eyes
"About time" he says before ushering us all out of the door into his car

"Can I stop now?" Kasiar whines, "we need to get home"
"And my followers need to see my outfit, take more" I hand my phone back to him again
"Beta that's enough for tonight we've got to get home" My dad says taking my phone off Kasiar and handing it back to me

I sigh and follow them back to my car. If I don't get to post an outfit picture I'm actually gonna be so angry.

Once Kasiar pulls up on the driveway I notice something weird.
"Who's Range Rover is that?" I look over at my dad and he smiles
"Look in your bag" he gestures towards my side bag and I open it

I take out a set of keys with a small tag handing from it saying 'happy birthday Zara, we're so proud of you'

I look up at my mum with tears in my eyes,
"You're kidding?" She shakes her head with a smile gesturing her hands towards my apparently new car
"Is it really mine" I ask my dad and he chuckles
"It's your birthday present from us" he gives me a hug, "no more taking taxis anymore"

Well more like no more Harris driving me around.

"Aww thank you so much, you didn't have to do this" I hug each of them with tears in my eyes
"You deserve it" my mum smiles at me

Harris: How's everything back home then

Me: It's good but I'm missing my apartment

Harris: Just your apartment?

Me: Well I miss this guy, he's really kind and he always knows how to cheer me up

Harris: oh really? Do I know this 'guy' by any chance

Me: yea he's called Farhan, I work with him. I might text him when I get the chance🤔

Harris: really Zara?😑

Me: and of course I miss you x

Harris: that's more like it :)

"Just came to say goodnight" my mum opens the door
"Night mum" I smile putting my phone under my pillow before closing my eyes to catch some sleep
