"I'm starviiiiiiing" AJ screams from across the room
"I'm never cooking for you guys again you don't have any patience at all" I attempt to get up off the sofa but Harris holds me down
"I'm comfortable like this" he looks at me, "...stay"
I feel my heart melting and I just wanna stay next to him but the smell of the food makes me worry that I'm burning it

"Come help me" I take hold of his hand and drag him with me to the kitchen
"That smells peng" he comments and I hum in agreement
"Call them, tell them it's ready"

He goes to call them whilst I finish setting the table and putting the food down
"Shiiiiit that looks so good" Shaddy walks in first and sits down
"Uhm wash your hands first please" I say and he gets up immediately to wash them and everyone else follows him

We all sit down and I wait for them to take the first bite so they can tell me how it is
Shaddy takes a bite and then starts laughing
"Why are you laughing?" I ask
He laughs, "shit man this is so good"
I let out a sigh of relief and sit back in my chair
"Eat yours too" Harris says pushing my plate towards me
I munch on my burger, tuning into the conversation every now and then, but really I'm all up in my head.

I feel like today has really solidified my feelings for Harris. Everytime I look at him my heart just feels so full, it could burst. He's literally the sweetest guy on the planet, he makes me melt into a puddle every time he looks at me. Not to mention then fact that he's absolutely stunning. His chocolate brown curls and his freckles are enough to make anyone weak at the knees.

"We'll clean up, you guys go chill" Runelle's voice brings me back to reality
"Are you sure?" I ask getting up and putting my plate in the sink
"Yeah yeah yeah, you two go" AJ practically pushes Harris out the kitchen and obviously I follow

He sits down on the sofa and I jump into his lap making him huff
He wraps his arms around me and hugs me really tight
"Don't ever leave me" he mumbles into my shoulder
"Look at me" I push him off me gently and hold his face in my hands

His eyelashes flutter and he looks up at me through them.
"Why would you think that" I ask slightly concerned
"Because I've done some shit things to you and I don't think you understand how much I need you" his eyes are full of tears, "...I'm fully dependable on you for my happiness"

His voice breaks and I feel my heart tighten,
"Bubs don't, you're gonna make me cry" I scratch the back of his head lightly and he relaxes into my touch leaning back onto the sofa, taking me with him
He stares at me intensely, "Zara I love you"

My heart stops for a second, nows my chance

I smile, feeling my eyes filling with tears too, "I love you too"
His facial expressions go slightly blank, "wait what?"
"I love you and I completely trust you" I repeat
"Say wallah" his mouth is a little agape
"Wallah" I reply quietly, almost a whisper

I'm crying at this point and a small tear falls out of his eye which is the breaking point for me. He pulls me into his chest and I lean my head on it, letting out a small sob.
"I've been waiting to hear this for so long" he mutters, a few moments later
"I'm sorry it took long" I sniffle
"No it's okay you took the time you needed"

I shuffle and sit up in his lap, "you need to listen to me now"
"What is it" his hands rest on my thighs
"You have to let go of what happened" his features soften, "I know you feel guilty but I've forgiven you for it, my love for you is greater than any mistake you've made"
"Really?" He asks and I nod my head

He scans my face but stays quiet,
"So you're gonna fix a date for me to meet you dad yeah?"
I chuckle, "erm I need to speak to them before you see them"
"About what"
"They don't know me and you are speaking again"

"Oh" he looks disappointed
"It'll be fine, trust me I'll explain it to them"
"Nah your dad fucking hates me, and your mum"
I grab his jaw with my hand, "I'm the one marrying you not my parents, I can explain it to them and make them see it from my perspective so shut up"

He smirks, "I like this side of you"
"Shut up" I let go of him and attempt to get off his lap but he holds me down
"Relax babe I'm joking" he laughs and I roll my eyes

"You're my happiness Zara" he says impulsively
"Mine too" I smile back at him

P.S: my life is a shit show at the moment so just in case you guys need to feel better about your own lemme tell you what's going on :) so my ex is getting married which is great considering I'm still not over him AND to make it even better he's marrying his cousin who's actually a friend :) part of me thinks she's chatting shit and she knows about me and him that's why she's pretending they're getting married so she can get it out of me OR maybe I'm just overthinking? Please let me know what you think cause I'm kinds going crazy here :(
