"It's time to leave" my mum approaches me as I'm chatting away to Alice
"Oh" I feel my heart sink a little, "okay"
I hug Alice, "see you at work in a couple weeks"
I laugh and nod my head

Mum takes me over to the garden again and both her and Maira help my dupatta back onto my head, partially covering my face.
They lead me to the door where Harris is waiting and he takes my hand into his and squeezes it for comfort.
First I hug Maira and I can't help my tears, and neither can she.
"Don't be silly, you'll be seeing me again you can't get rid of me that quick" she jokes and I laugh through tears
Next my mum hugs me and I can feel her tremble in my arms so I hug her tighter.
"I'm so happy you found a good man" she says looking into my eyes and I smile nodding my head as a tear falls out

Then I look at Kasiar and he doesn't look back at me, he just pulls me into a hug.
"I'm sorry for being a twat in the beginning" he says and I shake my head
"Love you" I whisper in a shaky voice
"I love you too, take care" he kisses the top of my head

I feel my heart clench knowing the next and last person is my dad.
"Don't cry beta it's okay, I'm still here" he says trying to console me even though he's in tears himself
"You know where I am whenever you need me" he says and I nod my head
He kisses the top of my head and then puts my hand in Harris's
"Take care of her for me" he says
"I will uncle, don't worry" he shakes my dads hand

Kaisar shakes his hand too before we walk over to Harris's car. He opens the passenger door for me and helps me get comfortable before closing the door. The atmosphere is quite as he drives carefully off the drive. I wave off my parents one more time and sit back in my seat when I can't see them anymore.

"Are you okay?" Harris asks looking at me and then back at the road
"Yes" I whimper and then start crying again
He hands me a tissue and let's me cry in peace for a couple minutes.
"Sorry" I sniffle and he shakes his head
"Don't be silly" he reaches over and takes my hand into his and I squeeze it
"I love you" I look at him with a lump still in my throat
"I love you too princess"

Once we reach his house, which is also my house now, he helps me to the front door.
"Zara, Salam come in come in" his mum gestures me into the front room and gives me a tight hug.
"Hi Zara" Isla reaches to hug me and I hug back
"Oh you look so pretty" May gushes and I laugh
"As do you" I reply hugging her too
"Zara can w-" Isla begins

"I'll bring her back later, she wants to freshen up" Harris interrupts and she slumps back
His dad chuckles, "both of you go get into some more comfortable clothes"
Harris grabs my hand and practically drags me out the room before I can say anything.

"Wait Harris" I laugh when he's about to pull me up the stairs without thinking
He looks back
"How am I meant to get up with this big dress" I flop my arm
Without thinking twice he reaches his arm behind my legs and one on my back and lifts me up in the air making me squeal.

I clutch into him as he runs up the stairs as if I weigh nothing. We enter his room, or should I say our room, and I think we're both equally as shocked.
His bed is lit up with fairy lights, there are white net curtains draped down, finished with red rose petals.
"This is so cute" I gush and he grunts
"I'll help you take the pins out, come" he shuts the door behind us and we both sit on the bed.

He slowly starts removing the pins and I can just feel the tension in the air rising with every pin he removes. My breath hitches when his hand touches my bare back.

After a few moments he clears his throat, "that was the last one"
"Thank you" I mutter quietly making me cringe so hard. I don't know why I'm being so shy and quiet this is not me at all.

"I was thinking..." he starts making me turn around and face him, "...do you wanna go out for a drive and food?"
My face breaks out into a smile and he mirrors it with a grin.
We both change into something more comfortable and I throw my hair into a bun and loosely throw a hijab on.

"Where are you guys going?" AJ asks when he sees us walking towards the door
"I'm taking my wife out!" Harris shouts with a smile on his face so everyone hears it
I look down trying to hide the smile on my face, he really makes me the happiest girl.
