"We need pictures to promote them before they actually come out" Alice says inspecting a bottle
"I wanna do them with a pitch black background and one spot light shining onto them so the rose gold shines out" I explain and Farhan nods his head in understanding

Jason comes from the back room with a camera in his right hand and his famous laptop in left hand
"Alice give me a hand?" He asks and she jumps at the offer

Dang girl what's up with you?

"Are your parents and brother coming to your birthday?" Farhan asks and I nod my head
"Yeah I'm flying them over to California and then the next day we're gonna go out to eat" I explain and he nods his head
"How's Kaisar?" He asks fiddling with the camera
"Yeah he's good, last time I saw him he claimed he wanted to get married" I say
"Wow really?" He laughs, "I always thought you'd get married first"

I laugh at his comment and shake my head,
"Nah not yet"
"Yo they're taking their time, what's going on?" Farhan says walking towards the back room

"I wouldn't go in there if I was you" I say stopping him from opening the door
"Why?"
"I've been getting a feeling that Alice is crushing on Jason and he's just the type of guy to get it with anyone" I explain
"Ooooookay don't talk anymore" he cringes and I laugh at him

"Do you want some shots of you and the bottles? I did GCSE photography you know?" He suggests and I laugh
"Why not?" I shrug

I sit down at one of the tables and pretend to paint my nail with the blush pink shade named 'Fairy Lights'
I hear his camera click a few times,
"Get in the light"

I move my position so the early evening light is hitting on my eyes and my hands
"Use another colour"

I switch to the deep yellow shade named 'Sunflower' and do a similar pose again
"aaaaand change shade"

I switch to one of my faves of the collection which is a midnight blue that I named 'Adoomy' after Adam because none of this would've happened without him.

I named one after Slim too, 'Midnight' which is a smokey black colour which was the colour of his suit, and a taupe colour named after Naz called 'London'

Once Farhan finished taking some more shots, Alice and Jason walk back into the room and Alice's hair is kind of messy.

Oh good god, boo where's your dignity?

"Sorry we couldn't find the light projector" Alice explains and I nod my head in a subtle questioning manner which none of them seemed to get other than Farhan
"What've you been up to?" Jason asks setting up the lights and screen

"We took some shots of me using the polishes" I say and he nods his head
"I'll look through them later, let's do the individual pictures" he says fixing the camera on his tripod

For the next hour and a half, Alice placed the bottles on the pillar, Farhan processed the photos and I redirected the lighting

"Are we done?" I ask sitting down and sighing
"Once the equipment is put away then yes" Jason replies while packing it away

Fifteen minutes later I'm in my car and I'm driving back to my apartment. I open my door and lock it behind my before putting my bag on my bedroom floor and quickly jumping into the shower.

I run out and get into a pair of sports leggings and one of Kaisar's t-shirts. I put my hair into a bun and shove my glasses on.

I throw myself onto my sofa and witch the TV on but my attention is distracted. I switch onto Instagram and go onto my follow requests

My finger hovers over the Confirm button and I feel myself accept his request and request to follow him back in return.

His posts come up and I become mesmerise by posts, literally how can I be this attracted to someone I've spoken to twice??

I scroll through and tap on one that catches my eye;

I mean he looks gorgeous. I haven't seen him in for a few weeks and he is glowing!

After about half an hour of literally stalking him, I realise what I'm doing and I put my phone away.
The TV is playing the channel that's always on and I'm not really watching it because my mind is still on his Instagram.

I've not seen him in ages and I just invited him to my birthday party for no reason

Well there's obviously a reason, you wanted him there

If he asks why he was invited I'm not gonna be able to give him a reason
Suddenly I get a notification and my phone screen lights up
