I push open the door and the warm air filled with the smell of cookies hits me.
I make eye contact with a certain pair of hazel eyes and I feel my heart racing

Ever since me and Harris had formally gotten back together we'd literally been in the honeymoon period. We were practically inseparable and we acted quite moist which I'm ashamed to admit
"Hi" I grin as he gets out his seat to hug me
"You look good" he kisses the top of my head and I melt

"Erm hi guys" I sit on the empty chair next to Harris and I had AJ on my other side
"You guys are back together yeah?" Yusha asks and I nod my head
"Yeahhh you guys thought you'd got rid of me" I laugh and Harris chuckles
His hand find it's way to my leg which he holds for comfort, he'd been doing that a lot recently
"It's been a good minutes since we seen you, how you been" Shaddy begins
"I've been busy you know, influencer things" I shrug and he laughs
"Are you too busy to cook us some food again?" Runelle asks
"You liked my cooking that much?"
"Make us something like meaty innit" AJ pipes up

"I'll take you shopping today and you can come over and make them at ours tomorrow?" Harris suggests so I nod my head
"That's fine, what do you guys want then"

"Lasagna"
"Burgers"
"Pizza"
"Biriyani"
They all speak at once and I laugh, "I'll tell you one thing I'm not making all of them"
"So guess we'll have to go with the Lasagna" Runelle says
"That's not fair I said I wanted Burgers" AJ argues
"Bubs you can pick" I say turning to Harris
Before Harris can answer, Shaddy speaks up "bubs?"

They all chuckle and I feel myself turning red, if it's one thing I don't do, it's pet names in public but this just slipped out
"Aye piss off at least I got a girl" Harris kisses his teeth and they all go quiet, "anyways I want burgers"
I clear my throat, "uhmm... chicken or beef?" which comes out a bit quieter than I intended
"Chicken" Harris replies squeezing my hand gently and I sigh nodding my head staring at my phone the the table

"Listen me and Zara are gonna go, we'll do the shopping now" Harris gets up out of his seat and I just follow suit
They murmur a goodbye and we walk back out of the cafe
"Baby you okay?"
"Hmm? Yeah I'm fine" I lie
"No you're not"
"Honestly it's fine don't worry about it, did you come in your car?" I ask waving him off
"Drive to mine and we'll take mine I walked here" he says and I nod my head

"Okayyyy what do we need" Harris says grabbing a basket
"Ermmm let's just walk around and I'll pick up whatever we need" I suggest
He reaches out to hold my hand, "Cool"
As we're walking around shopping I can't help but feel like more than just boyfriend and girlfriend. It feels like more than that.

"Yooooo Nando's sauce" he lets go of my hand and runs up to the end of the aisle, "we need this"
I laugh at his enthusiasm, "do we really?"
"We're having burgers" he points out very obviously, "of course we need Nando's sauce"

He sticks out his bottom lip in an attempt to be cute
"That doesn't work on me, you know that"
He sticks it out further
"Still isn't working with me bubs"
"That's cause you're a strong, independent woman isn't it" he says scrapping the baby act and switching on the flattery to 100
I just laugh at him and shake my head, "honestly this is second hand embarrassment for me darling, just put it in the basket"

He grins and his dimple sticks out, "you're cute with your dimple"
He looks down at me and I suddenly get all shy
"Am I yeah?" His voice deepens and I feel my stomach flutter
He gets closer and I can feel my legs giving in

But then common sense kicks in and I push him away from me lightly, "we're in the middle of ASDA"
He chuckles loudly, "so what there's no one around"
Technically he's right
"Allah's watching hun"
I turn on my heel flicking my hijab
"Babe relax" his shoes squeak along the floor and he follows behind me

Once we get to the till to pay he puts everything on the belt and I pack
"Are you guys married?" The cashier asks
Me and Harris just look at each other
"Ah shit don't say you're brother and sister" she speaks up again with horror written all over her face

"Do we look like brother and sister?" I ask
"No thats why I asked if you were married" she laughs
Harris chuckles, "I'm trying to marry her but she doesn't want me like that yet"
My mouth widens, "he's lying honestly don't listen to him"
She laughs again, "you guys are adorable you remind me of me and my husband, Francois"
"Aww you're French?" I ask and she nods her head
"We got married at the church near the Eiffel Tower and then we took our wedding pictures with the tower when the sun was setting" she explains
I clutch my chest, "oh my god that sounds amazing"
"It was" she smiles at herself
"Have you guys had children?" I ask
"Yes three beautiful boys" she smiles back

I glance at Harris who's watching me intently
"Your total will be £18.42 please"
He pays and then grabs the bags
"Bye darling" she says to me and I smile
"See you later, stay blessed" I give her a big smile as we walk away

I grab Harris' hand in mine and I feel my heart grinning
