# Siberia — Full Moon Part 1 🐺
### On the way to school
As we drove to school, Alex couldn't stop thinking about Jade.
He stared out the window, barely saying a word.
Maya noticed.
"So... how do you think tonight is going to go?"
Alex looked at her.
"What?"
"For Jade."
He looked back out the window.
"I don't know."
His voice was quiet.
"Will she be okay?"
Everyone in the car looked at him.
Alex finally sighed.
"Not really."
"What?"
He rubbed his hands together nervously.
"What's going to happen to Jade?"
Nobody answered.
"She isn't going to be herself tonight."
His voice cracked slightly.
"I love her so much. And I'm scared of seeing her turn into more wolf."
Maya looked at him.
"Maybe her wolf is nice."
"No wolf is nice," Leanna snapped.
Maya frowned.
"Well... it was just a guess."
Nichole, who had been quiet until then, finally spoke.
"We just need to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone."
She looked at Alex.
"That's why Jade's dad needs all of us."
"Yeah," Alex said.
Nichole nodded.
"We've got this."
The car pulled into the school parking lot.
Everyone got out.
But Alex looked back toward the house before walking inside.
He couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen.
Something they weren't prepared for.

# Back at the house
Dad watched over Jade.
Then he checked on Lunar.
She was still new to all of this.
Everything was happening too fast for her.
But Jade was different.
She had been in her wolf form for a week.
A whole week.
She had missed school.
She hadn't seen her friends.
She hadn't even been able to live normally.
And now her body was hurting again.
Jade lay on the bed, barely moving.
*What is happening to me?*
Her bones felt like they were being pulled apart from the inside.
She wondered if maybe she was finally going to become human again.
