Chapter forty four

As the sun started to come up, I heard Siberia trying to tell me something.

I let her speak.

"Jade... did you know you're pregnant?"

I froze.

"What?"

"You're pregnant with three. You're going to be a mom."

I was completely shocked.

I didn't know I was pregnant. I was seventeen, almost finished high school, and now I was going to be a mom.

"How many weeks?" I asked.

"Five going on six weeks."

I couldn't believe it.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. And if you need me, you can still talk to me. But right now, you're going to become human again."

As the sunlight hit me, I suddenly felt the pain.

My bones began moving back into their human shape. My paws slowly changed back into hands. My face changed, my ears returned to normal, and the fur disappeared.

I was no longer a wolf.

I was me again.

But this time, I could feel something different.

I could feel that I was pregnant.

The pain became too much, and I fell to the ground.

"Jade!"

Alex ran toward me.

"Are you okay?"

He helped me sit up.

"I'm okay," I said quietly.

But I knew I had to tell him.

How would Alex react? He was the same age as me. How was he going to feel knowing he was going to be a dad?

I couldn't keep it from him. If I didn't tell him and something happened, he'd be upset that I kept it from him.

"Alex, sit down."

He sat beside me immediately.

"What is it? Can you walk? I'll carry you if you need me to. Are you hurt?"

"Alex, I'm okay. It's just... I have something to tell you."

He looked worried.

"Okay. What do you need to tell me?"

I took a deep breath.

"I don't know how you're going to react to this..."

He waited.

"You're going to be a dad."

My face went red as the words came out.

Alex stared at me.

Then his eyes lit up.

"I'm going to be a dad?"

He smiled.

"You're not mad?" I asked.

"What? Mad? Not at all!"

He looked happier than I'd ever seen him.

"I've always wanted a family, Jade. I'm so fucking happy."

I smiled.

"How many weeks are you?"

"Five going on six."

"Do you know how many you're having?"

"Three."

His eyes widened.

"Three?"

I nodded.

"Three."

I was happy too, but there was still a part of me wondering if I was ready.

I'd only just learned that I was a werewolf, and now I was going to be a mom to three pups—or babies.

"Jade," Alex said softly. "Are you okay with this?"

I looked at him.

"Of course I am. I've always wanted to be a mom someday. And now I'm going to be one."

I looked down at my stomach.

"But wait..."

"What?"

"If I'm a wolf... will they be wolves too?"

Alex looked at me.

"Siberia?"

"Yes," I answered.

Siberia spoke inside my mind.

"They will be wolves too, but not right away. They'll turn when they turn ten, during the full wolf moon, just like you."

I looked at Alex.

"Is it okay if I call them pups?"

He smiled.

"Of course. They're wolves, so they're pups. But you can call them babies too."

I smiled.

"I'm happy we're going to be parents."

"Me too."

"We need to tell the others."

Alex nodded.

"Yeah. They're going to be shocked."

I slowly got ready as fast as I could. My body was still sore from being a wolf for so long, but I pushed through it.

Then Alex and I walked toward the others.

I didn't know how they were going to react.

But soon, everyone was going to know our secret.

We were going to be parents.

To three little pups.

hey wolfies sorry I haven't been writing I been sooo busy this summer I couldn't get on my laptop to finish this book so as right now I'm coming back slowly and getting it done so what did you guys think about jade being  Pregnant eee I was so happy to write this chapter I say this one is my favorite chapter I've done in this whole book anyway i hope you like this chapter comment below what you like about this  chapter and in this book   more coming soon
