**The Big News!**
As we got back to the house, we knew we had to tell everyone the big news.
The second we walked through the door, everyone came running toward us.
"Your human again! Yay!"
"Yea, I am!" I said with a smile. "It feels so good to be me again."
I looked down at myself, still getting used to being human after being stuck as my wolf for so long.
Alex came up beside me.
"Okay, everyone, Jade and I have something to tell you."
They all looked at us.
"What is it?" Maya asked.
"Yeah, what happened?" Leanna added.
Alex and I looked at each other.
We both smiled.
Then we said it at the exact same time.
"We're going to be parents!"
Everyone went completely silent.
Then—
"OMG, really?!"
My dad's face lit up.
"I'm going to be a grandpa!"
He looked so happy that I couldn't help but smile.
Everyone started congratulating us, asking questions, and talking all at once.
"Wait," Maya said. "How many?"
"Three," I said. "Three pups... or babies."
"Three?!" Alex laughed.
"Yep. Three."
"How long have you known?" my dad asked.
"I'm around five weeks, but almost six."
Everyone looked at each other.
"Is there anything else I need to know?" I asked.
My dad suddenly became serious.
"Actually, yes."
I looked at him.
"What?"
"Being a werewolf and having babies is different from being human."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're five weeks right now, almost six. But because you're a werewolf, your weeks go faster."
I stared at him.
"So... when are they due?"
"Your babies should arrive around Christmas time."
My eyes widened.
"How do you know that? I haven't even gone to the doctor to see when they're due."
My dad smiled.
"Because we're family. I can tell when they're due."
He pointed toward me.
"I knew when you were due. It was supposed to be around springtime, and there you were—the beginning of spring."
I smiled.
"So my babies are winter babies?"
"Exactly."
I looked at Alex.
He was smiling from ear to ear.
"It's October 11," I said quietly. "So I'm going to have them soon."
Alex reached for my hand.
"Three little pups," he said.
I smiled.
"Three little pups."
Siberia suddenly spoke inside my mind.
*And they're going to be very special.*
I smiled to myself.
*You think so?*
*I know so.*
I looked around at everyone.
A few months ago, I didn't even know I was a werewolf.
Now I was standing in front of my family, human again, with three little pups growing inside me.
My life had changed completely.
And somehow, I couldn't wait to see what came next.
