"Wow, Jade... you're big," Alex said, staring at me.
There was something different about the way he looked at me. Almost like he couldn't believe how much I had changed.
I smiled.
Sabrina started talking to me in my mind again.
*I know he likes what you look like as a full wolf. And you're going to look like this when you're older too, so I guess you get to look like a full wolf either way.*
*I like it. I feel nice and strong. Can I turn into this again if I turn back into human again?*
*Umm... you may if you want to, but only three times. Because your full wolf transformation is painful after three times. If you wanna be this a third time, you won't be able to walk for a bit, but if you do it one more time, you'll be okay.*
*Umm... nice to know. I'll just do it one more time again.*
*By the way, you'll be human after this moon. You'll be you again.*
*OMG, really? I miss being human and riding Lex.*

I laughed quietly.
Alex walked over to me.
"Hey, can we go out into the woods?"
Sabrina spoke inside my head.
*Go ahead. Have fun.*
I looked at Alex.
"Sure."
We walked toward the woods together.
Alex suddenly stopped.
"Wait. I want to show you something."
Before I could answer, he changed into his wolf.
His wolf was smaller than mine, and I looked down at him.
"Wow... you're big too."
He looked up at me.
"I'm taller when I'm human, too."
I laughed.
"So, for the wolves, I guess she's bigger than me right now."
"Ha! Look who's bigger now!"
I ran past him through the trees.
"Hey!"
I could hear Alex chasing after me.
I was faster.
Much faster.
I slowed down and waited for him.
Alex finally caught up.
"Damn, Jade. You're fast."
I smiled and ran around him.
He tried to catch me, but I kept moving just out of reach.
Finally, I stopped.
Alex came running toward me, and I jumped onto him.
He nearly fell over.
"Jade!"
I laughed.
"Sorry!"
He looked up at me and smiled.
"You're trouble."
"You love it."
"I really fucking do."
I leaned closer and kissed him.
For a moment, everything around us disappeared.
The trees.
The moon.
The cold air.
It was just me and Alex.
I pulled away slightly and looked into his eyes.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
He kissed me again, and I wrapped my arms around him.
I was careful not to hurt him. I was bigger and stronger now, and I didn't want my new strength to get in the way of what I wanted.
That night, Alex and I stayed together in the woods, laughing, talking, chasing each other through the trees, and stealing kisses whenever we could.
For the first time, I wasn't worried about being a wolf.
I wasn't scared of my strength.
I wasn't scared of what I had become.
I was just Jade.
And I was with the person I loved.
That night, Alex and I were one.
And I loved him more than anything.
