Adriel's POV 

Angelei was been coughing lately at mas lalo pang lumalala iyon. Ilang araw na din siyang may lagnat, hindi naman siya naambunan. And now, she look so pale. I want to scold her but I remember that I was the one who gave her chocolates. Tch, wala naman akong sinabing ubusin niya.

"Kuya, pasamahan muna siya sa Doctor ha, nagpa-appointment na ako ng check up." Anyah said.

"Do you have a flight today?" Tanong ko.

She gave me a nod. "Oo, pa-Dubai yung flight ko."

I nodded. "Your daughter always asks me about you, everytime you have a flight. I don't know what to amswer."

She let out a sigh. "Psh, kung ako lang din naman, I don't want to leave her." She replied. "Basta Kuya ha, pasuyo nalang, antagal niya na kasing may lagnat." Patungkol niya kay Angelei.

"Hmm." Tatango tangong sagot ko.

"I promise you, you'll be happy for what you'll see." Then Anyah smiled.

My brows furrowed. "Anong nakakatuwa sa Clinic na pambata?"

Nagkibit balikat siya. "Si Larissa yung Doctor, diba nakakatuwa?"

Napatigil ako sa pagkain nung sabihin niya yung pangalan niya. She's still smiling at me while I'm stunned by what she said. Hmm, it will be great.

"Ayaw mo bang samaha--"

"No, ako na bahala mamaya." Pinutol ko yung sasabihin niya, mas lumaki ang ngisi niya.

"Hindi, pwede naman na si--"

"I said no, Anyah." I said. "Ako na ang sasama sa kanya, kahit wala ka pang flight."

She laughed, I just roll my eyes. "Hulog na hulog ka Kuya."

I don't want to miss this chance anymore. Sinabi saakin ni Anyah kung anong oras yung Check up ni Angelei. She also left after that to went to the airport. As time pass by, mas gusto ko ng pumunta sa ospital. I'm thinking what happened to her for the past years. Is she fine? Damn, I want to see her now.

At nung dumating na yung oras, talagang naghanda ako. I don't know, I disgusted myself. I act like a damn teenager who's having a date with his crush! Tch, I'm too old for this. While we're bound to the hospital, I decided to bought her some coffee and donuts. Iniisip ko na baka di pa siya kumakain, atleast she can eat those while working. She must take care of herself.

But when we arrived to the hospital, parang ayoko ng ibigay 'to! I don't know, parang nawala ata yung lakas ng loob ko. So I decided to gave it to the guard, para siya nalang yung magbigay.

"Yeah, pakibigay nalang po kay Doctora Hortaleza, thank you." I said.

"Ah, sige po Sir." Sabi ni Kuya Guard.

I smiled. "Ahmm, do you have any paper?"

"Ay, meron po." He replied.

May kinuha siya sa isang gilid at muling lumingon saakin. Nagbigay siya ng papel saakin at pati na rin ballpen, I just gave him a smile and nod. At dahil nga hindi ko maibibigay yun, I just wrote a note there. Sinimplehan ko lang yung note, I didn't even put my name there, just a smiley face.

Maybe you haven't eaten lunch yet because you're busy. Eat this donuts, don't forget to have some break.
