You've known Soda longer than you've known anyone else. He was the brother you never had. You guys would good off at the DX together and pull pranks on Darry and Pony. You comforted Soda after his breakup with Sandy.
The last couple weeks, you've started developing a crush on him, but you were scared to confront him about it. The last thing you wanted was to ruin your friendship.
One day when you were hanging out with Soda at the DX, Soda came up to you, sweaty and a towel draped over his shoulder. He looked cute.
"Hey, Y/N?" Soda asked, "Can I ask you a question?"
"What's up, bro?" You responded casually from the car you were sitting on.
Soda started fidgeting and looked down. You knew too well that he was nervous, "Soda, what's wrong?"
Instead of responding like a normal person, Soda went in and kissed me. I was taken aback at first, but then melted into the feeling of it all.
I was a little disappointed when Soda pulled away.
"So, I guess you love me, huh Soda?" I said, smirking.
Soda smiled, "Guess so."
He kissed me on the forehead again before getting back to work.
All I could do was sit there and watch him leave. I still couldn't fully process that I kissed Sodapop Curtis.
