"How could you do this?" You shouted, from across the island, throwing plates at Steve, who was on the other side of the island.
Steve, who'd caught the plate, said, "She's a better kisser than you."
"Is that all I am to you?" You screamed, "Just someone for you to kiss? That woman has a husband!"
Steve shrugged, "Well at least she's not throwing plates at me."
You growled, "Shut up, shut UP!"
"No need to yell."
You clenched your fists until your knuckles were white, "Do you care? Like actually, do you just not care at all?"
"I mean, it's not like you ever cared about what I wanted."
Your jaw dropped, "are you kidding me? Who let you pick out what we'd get when we'd order takeout?"
"You."
"And who let you sleep in till noon on a Sunday?" You said, tears running down your face.
"You."
"And who let you hang out with Soda on our anniversary?"
"You did."
Steve looked ashamed for what he'd done. And honestly, you were kind of hoping he'd feel that way.
"Look Steve," You began, "I forgive you."
Steve's gaze moved from the floor up to you, "You do?"
You nodded, "I know it's sometimes hard to realize the things we sacrifice for each other in a relationship. It may seem like we're doing nothing, but really, we put our all into a relationship to make it work. And I want you to realize that, Steve."
"Y/N, I'm so sorry," Steve said, running up to you and giving you a tight hug, "I didn't realize."
"I know," you whispered, kissing him.
"How about I take you out to dinner?" Steve suggests, "you can pick anywhere you want to. I don't care."
You smiled and held Steve's hand into yours, "That sounds wonderful."
