"Just a dead battery." Steve said, rolling out from underneath the car.
"That's what I thought." You said, satisfied with your prediction.
"Why is da battery dead?" Your two-year old daughter, Iris said.
Steve picked up your little one and tossed her in the air before saying, "because it wasn't charged."
"Otay, but why?" Iris asked.
You laughed, "Here we go again."
Iris had been doing that a lot lately, which annoyed you a bit. Steve never seemed to mind it though, which was good for your sanity.
"Because nothing gold can stay." Steve replied simply.
You kissed Steve on the cheek, "Way to steal Pony's line, babe."
Steve shrugged, "It's true though, isn't it?"
You nodded as you took Iris from Steve's arm, "Are you staying late tonight?"
Steve scratched the back of his head, "Yeah. The boss needs to talk to us about a promotion or something like that. I'll be home a little after five. I'm sorry, sweetie."
You shrugged, "It's alright."
"Daddy?" Iris asked, "When you're dwiving home, tan you pick up some Dino nuggies from da store?"
"Sure baby," Steve said, kissing Iris on the forehead, "Do you want anything, Y/N?"
You grinned, "Chocolate ice cream?"
Steve nodded, "Anything for you babe."A/N:

The Outsiders imagines
KurzgeschichtenI'm so bad at descriptions so we're just gonna keep this short and simple. This book is just a whole bunch of corny, cheesy love story imagines. That's all I have to say. All characters belong to the wonderful S.E Hinton!!
