It had been three months since your brother Dally died and all you wanted to do was heal.
You tried counseling and therapy, which did nothing. You tried dealing with it on your own, but that only made you feel worse.
The only thing that made you feel even the slightest bit happy was your love, Two-Bit.
You were looking at the newspaper one day in early June when you came across something that caught your eye.
"Camp Heroes," you said aloud, "a camp for those who have lost someone important to them. Here at this camp we process our emotions and talk about our grief journey in addition to doing the typical camp activities. It is a sleep away camp from Monday to Friday."
This is exactly what you needed, or what you think you needed anyway.
"Two-Bit!" You called, "come here!"
Two-Bit came stumbling down the stairs, falling down "gracefully".
"What's up?" He asked, approaching you.
"Well, I was looking in the paper," you began, "and I found a summer camp revolving around processing your grief and stuff in addition to doing the normal camp activities."
Two-Bit came over and sat next to you on the couch, giving you a hug.
"I think you should go to that camp." Two-Bit said.
"You sure? Because I feel bad leaving you and what if I get sad and-"
Two-Bit silenced you with a kiss, "You'll be ok. You need this. The most important thing to me right now is getting you to be happy again."
You smiled, "Thanks Two."
"Anything for my baby."
