Y'all seemed to really like my first Johnny imagine so I hope y'all like this one!!!
It was your birthday and there was no one else you wanted to spend it with then with Johnny Cade.
Like most days after school, you headed to the lot and Johnny was almost always waiting for you there.
"Hey Johnny." You huffed as you sat down beside Johnny, the warm afternoon sun beating down on your back.
"Hey Y/N," Johnny replied, putting his arm around your shoulder, "happy birthday."
You smiled, "anything you've got planned?"
Johnny looked down and you immediately felt bad. Of course he had nothing planned. Johnny didn't have much money to begin with.
"Johnny, I'm sorry," You say quickly, "I didn't mean to-"
"No, it's alright." Johnny said, "because I actually have something for you."
"Really?" You asked excitedly.
Johnny nodded and pulled something out from his pocket. It looked like a straw wrapper.
Johnny's nimble fingers quickly fashioned the straw wrapper into a little circle.
"I know we're young and only kids," Johnny began, "But I love you, Y/N. If I could marry you today I would. So, because I can't do that now, I have this."
You gasped as Johnny slipped the paper ring on your left ring finger, "Johnny are you proposing to me?"
Johnny blushed and smiled, "Maybe."
You laughed and kissed him. When you pulled away, Johnny said, "Sorry this isn't a very pretty ring, but I hope you-"
You shut Johnny up with a passionate kiss on the lips, "Johnny it's perfect. I love it and I love you."
"So, does this mean you're going to be a Mrs. Cade?" Johnny asked, smirking.
"Hell yeah." You replied, snuggling close to Johnny as he wrapped an arm around you.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me," you muttered.
"You too," Johnny said softly.
