"That's all the boxes." You huffed as you set down a large box labeled "books."
Only one month ago, you had gotten engaged to the love of your life, Darry Curtis. You guys decided to move in together and you were so happy.
"So, where should we start?" Darry asked, looking around at all the boxes.
"Kitchen stuff?" You suggested, looking into Darry's eyes and smiling.
He smiled, "Alright, let's go."
We spent about an hour unpacking all the dishes and kitchen stuff and putting them away in the drawers and cabinets. You were ready for a break.
"Dar?" You asked, "can we take a break?"
Darry looked kind of disappointed, which is kind of what you expected, "Yeah, ok. What do you want to do?"
"Cuddles?" You suggested, widening your eyes and pursing your lips.
"You know I can't resist that cute little face." Darry said.
"So cuddles?" You asked excitedly.
Darry nodded, smiling at your excitement and the two of you headed to your jade-green couch.
Darry plopped himself on the couch, his arms spread out wide, waiting for you to come.
You hopped into his arms and he tightened them around you.
You put your arms around his torso and rested your head on his strong chest.
"Mm this is nice." You sighed, closing your eyes.
"Yeah?" Darry asked as he started to play with your hair."
You looked up at him and smiled, "It's the best, Dar."
Darry pulled you close to him and planted a passionate kiss on your lips, holding you closely as he did so.
"I'm so excited to get married." You said after you guys pulled away.
"Me too." Darry said, planting a soft kiss on your forehead.
"I love you, Darry." You said happily.
"I love you too, Y/N."
