Katya walked in her aunt's house, her hair dripping from the downpour outside. "I'm home!" Tempest stuck her head out of the kitchen with a smile.

"Oh hello Katya. Oh god, you look awful."

"Thanks."

"I'm just kidding. How was your girlfriend? Did you gals have a nice time?"

"Uh, she's good and yes ma'am, we had a nice time."

"That is good. When will I get to meet her?"

"Um, I don't know. She works and is always super busy so.."

"That's okay, I understand. There is no rush but I would love to meet her."

"Sure thing. Hey, I am going to run and take a shower before dinner, I kinda smell."

"Of course kiddo." Katya took a few steps up the stairs but sopped when she heard her aunt call her name. "Katya, wait."

"Yeah?"

"We will be having an extra somebody over for dinner."

"Oh, okay. That's nice." Tempest nodded before walking back in the kitchen. Katya dragged herself up the stairs to her bedroom. She didn't really sleep all that well last night. Katya spent most of the night staying up at the ceiling of Trixie's room. Sure, everything in her life was good. She had an amazing girlfriend and amazing friends who supported her relationship. She had a great aunt, sister, and dad who all wanted her to be happy. But she didn't have her mom. It felt as if her mom wasn't there anymore. Katya made it seem as if she was fine but truth be told, her mother ignoring her hurt. Even though it hurt, Katya told herself she wasn't giving up anything else to please others. She had given up so many things to make her mother happy, to try and get her approval but Katya didn't want to do that anymore. She couldn't. Doing that made her unhappy. When she looked in the mirror a few years ago, sometimes she didn't whose reflection was looking back at her..hers or her mother's. That is what happens when you live for someone other than yourself, you lose yourself.

After her shower, Katya felt better. She walked into her bedroom, drying her hair. It was going on 5pm and inner was going to be soon. Katya sat on her bed as she took her phone off of the charger. She had a few messages from the girls, a couple of Instagram notifications and a missed call from Trixie. Katya raised her eyebrow and put the phone to her ear, waiting for Trixie to pick up. "Hello?"

"Hey Trixie, I'm sorry I didn't answer. I was in the shower."

"It's okay."

"Did you need something?"

"Oh, I was just calling to ask you if you wanted me to drop off your makeup bag. You left it in my bathroom."

"Shit."

"So, that's a yes?"

"Ehh, I don't know Trix. My aunt is here."

"I don't have to get out, I won't even blow the horn. I'll text you when I get there."

"Really?"

"Sure baby."

"Okay, thank you."

"No problem, let me finish up with these papers and I will be right over."

"Okay, love you." Trixie chuckled softly, her laugh making Katya's heart ring.

"I love you too." Katya threw her phone on her pillow and stood up, getting ready to for dinner.

"Katya!"

"Yes ma'am?"

"Dinner is ready!"

"Okay, I will be down." Katya wrapped her hair in a messy bun, too lazy to put in anymore work than required. Katya was putting on her socks when she heard a knock at her door. "Come in." Willam walked into the room, carrying a jar of peanut butter.
