Katya signed as she looked at her phone. Part of her wanted Trixie to text her, but of course she wouldn't. She said goodbye to Trixie, but Trixie could have at least said bye. Katya was angry and she could admit that to herself, and only herself. "Katya, I'm going to the store. Would you like anything?" Katya rolled her eyes as continued to fold her clothes. "Katya?" Mrs. Zamolodchikova sighed and opened Katya's door. "Are you still not talking to me? Katya you can't ignore me forever." Mrs. Zamolodchikova closed her daughter's door and walked down stairs.
"Hey mom."
"Hi Willam."
"What's wrong? Is Katya still not talking to you?"
"No, she's not. I wish she would just understand that I did what was best for her."
"Was it really though?"
"What?'
"She's unhappy mom."
"Willam, she is just pouting."
"I would be too if you took me from my friends, the friends that I had for half of my life. But this is more than just pouting."
"She slept with.."
"Did you ask?"
"Huh?"
"You just took some random person's word instead of talking to your daughter, and even if she did..who cares?"
"Willam!"
"Is sadness what's best for her? I know you want Katya to be your golden child, but if she's unhappy then she can't be that." Willam grabbed her phone and walked upstairs to her room. She knew how bad this move was affecting her little sister. Nothing about this move was good for her. All of this bothered Willam..their mother making a rash decision, their father not saying a damn word, and Katya being depressed. Willam decided to do something about it, she needed to.

"Dad, can I talk to you?" Willam opened the door to her dad's office, peeking inside.
"Sure cupacke. Come on in." Willam closed the door behind her as her dad sat up in his chair. "What is going on kid?"
"I'm worried about Katya."
"Yeah, me too."
"You are?"
"Yes." Willam's dad took off his glasses and rubbed his forehead. "She isn't happy."
"I thought I was the only one that saw it."
"I'm her father, of course I see it."
"What about mom then?"
"Your mother just..she's a bit different is all. She doesn't want Katya getting into any trouble."
"I get that but is that really worth her happiness? She walks around here all mopey."
"Willam, dear my answer is no because I know Katya is a good kid. I also know that we make mistakes, but Polina has her own way of thinking."
"Can you talk to her?"
"She doesn't listen to me." Willam groaned, she felt as if her dad was useless.
"She didn't ask us how we felt about this stupid move. At all." Willam crossed her arms and leaned against the door.
"I know kid. She brought it up last year and I thought she was just talking. I was against it, still am. But we both know how she is."
