"Alright you guys, all of you need to go to your cabins and put your things away. Breakfast is at 10:30 and it is 8:15. You guys have two hours for a nap if you decide to take one." Trixie watched as students dragged themselves off of the buses, tripping over each other. Raven stood next to Trixie, leaning on her. "You look like you need just as much sleep as they do."
"I had most of the cheerleaders on my bus."
"Oh no."
"Yeah, oh no is right. They screamed, argued, and talked non stop."
"Sounds like a handful. All the girls on my bus just slept and watched movies."
"If only."
"Well, you go get some sleep. I will save you breakfast."
"Thanks Trixie."
"Ms. Mattel which cabin is ours?"
"Cabin 3 Jan."
"Thanks."
"Hey Jan?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you and Katya okay?" Jan smiled awkwardly and shook her head. "May I ask why?"
"Gigi and I kind of pushed her, trying to talk to her about her behaviour recently. We went about it the wrong way."
"I'm sure it will be okay."
"I hope so. She hasn't talked to me at all, she's ignoring me. I called her and texted her, nothing." Jan began to sniffle as she looked down. "I just wanted to help. I know that she hasn't been happy recently..and I just thought that.." Jan bursts into tears, unable to finish her sentence.
"Hey, hey it will be okay." Trixie pulled Jan into a hug, rubbing her back softly. "You two, well three...will work it all out. Katya just needs time. She handles her emotions the only way she knows how. She shuts down until she knows how to approach the situation " Jan nodded her head, still sniffling. "You go ahead and put your things away, and get yourself cleaned up. This is a time to relax so try to do that, okay?"
"Okay, thank you Ms. Mattel."
"Of course."

After all of the girls had gone to their cabins, Trixie decided to walk around the grounds to get a feel of the place. She made her way to the lake and sat down on the dock, watching the birds fly above. "It's really nice out here."
"It is."
"Can I sit with you?" Trixie moved over, letting Katya sit beside her.
"You aren't tired?"
"No, I slept enough on the bus. What about you? Shouldn't you try to sleep a little?"
"Nah, I'm good."
"Hmm."
"I spoke with Jan."
"Yeah, I saw."
"She said you aren't speaking to her or any of the other girls."
"I don't have anything to say."
"Why do you do that Katya?"
"Do what?"
"Run instead of talking through it." Trixie turned and faced Katya, staring into her eyes.
"Easier that way."
"That only solves the problem for a short while Katya. They just want to be there for you. Can't push everyone away."
"I can try."
