Trixie woke up two hours earlier to get a room ready for Farrah. She was going to be arriving while Trixie was still at work. And there was no way Trixie was calling out to be here for that. She told Farrah her address, what taxi to catch, and where she kept her extra set of keys. Trixie left some money on the coffee table near the door so Farrah could order herself something to eat, if she wanted. After looking around to make sure she did everything she needed to, Trixie grabbed her keys. She sent Farrah a quick text, and left.

Trixie parked in her space and looked at herself in her mirror. She had seen better days but she didn't have time to be upset about the bags under her eyes. Trixie made her way inside the school and straight to her classroom. She had music blaring in her ears, trying to drown out her thoughts. Her brain boucned from Farrah being alone in her condo to Katya seeing her kiss Sammy. It was all a mess. Trixie sat down at her desk and put her head in her arms. She needed a bit of time to get herself together before even thinking about what lessons she needed to teach today. "Ms. Mattel, are you in here?"

"Yes Crystal, I'm here."

"Oh goodie. I am here to drop off all of our permission slips."

"Okay, you can just set them there."

"Are you okay Ms. Mattel?"

"Yes, just tired."

"I hope you get a chance to take a nap today."

"Thank you Crystal."

"I'll see you next period."

"See you then." Trixie sighed and stood up after Crystal had left. She walked to the window that overlooked the courtyard. Trixie was too tired to be here. Even though she tried to go to bed early, her brain had other plans. She tossed and turned all night. Katya was on her mind all night. Katya. Katya. Katya. It was torture. Why was this happening? Trixie just wanted to live her life and be happy.  She didn't want to be stuck on some teenager. Well, was she stuck? Trixie had no idea. She was too tired for this, too tired to think. Trixie walked to her desk, putting all of her things back in her bag. She grabbed her phone, and was just about to call Raven to tell her that she was leaving when there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Trixie was a bit surprised when Katya opened the door. "Oh hi Katya."

"Good morning, I was coming to drop off my permission slip."

"Okay, I can take that." Trixie took the piece of paper and put it in the stack that Crystal had brought by.

"Did you just get here?"

"Uh no, I've been here for a little bit."

"Are you about to leave?"

"I, uh, I was actually. How did you know?"

"Your stuff is packed."

"Oh, yeah. Is there something else you needed?"

"I wanted to apologize for walking in on you and your girlfriend yesterday."

"Huh? Girlfriend? Wha-oh! You mean Sammy..she's not my girlfriend."

"Well, I'm still sorry about that."

"It's okay, I should be more careful." Katya rubbed her arm as she rocked back and forth on her heels.

"I should be going now."

"Okay, I hope you have a nice day."

"I wanted to ask you something."

"What's that?"

"What cabin are you going to chaperone?"

"I haven't decided yet, probably the one with the least amount of trouble makers." Katya chuckled softly, a small smile appearing on her face. It made Trixie's heart hurt and flutter at the same time.
