*Hiya loves, alright so this chapter and those to come are after the original story. The chapters now are taking place during the summer, after Katya's graduation(and after). Nothing much has changed, other than Trixie and Katya are together. Hope you guys enjoy*
Katya sat on the bed, looking at college brochures. "Katya? Babe, I'm back. Baby, where are you?"
"I'm upstairs." Katya heard Trixie's heels on the stairs.
"I'm happy that you're finally up."
"Sorry about sleeping all day."
"It's okay, do you feel better?" Trixie walked to the bed and put her hand on Katya's forehead.
"A little stuffy but other than that, yeah."
"Good."
"How was dropping Farrah off to the airport?"
"Ugh, don't even bring that up."
"Why, what's wrong?"
"Because dad called just as she was getting on the plane."
"And?"
"He wants me to come visit."
"Oh, well are you going to?"
"Hell no. I don't have any reason to."
"You could better your relationship with him."
"No thank you, I don't really want to."
"Why?" Trixie sighed as she took her hair out of the high ponytail.
"Why won't you move back in with your parents?"
"Those are two different situations."
"Not really."
"Oh yeah, how so?"
"Because Kat, your mother makes you feel suffocated. My dad makes me feel that way, he makes me feel as if nothing is good enough for him. I decided to be a teacher instead of a doctor or some like that, so he isn't too happy."
"What's wrong with teaching?"
"Nothing, it's just not what he wanted for me. I don't feel like wasting my energy or time, so it's better to just not."
"I understand, I'm sorry."
"Don't be, it's okay. I'm going to go hop in the shower."
"Awe, but you just got home."
"It won't be too long I promise."
"You always say that."
"You could come sit in the bathroom if you'd like."
"Really?"
"Yes, I want to talk to you about college anyway."
"Ugh, again?" Katya dragged herself off of the bed, following Trixie to the bathroom.
"Baby, I know you said you were thinking about it."
"Thinking doesn't mean I'm going to go for sure."
"Very true." Trixie stepped into the shower, turning on the hot water. She let the water run off of her body, melting away the stress of the day. "So have you talked to your mother?"
"Nope."
"Still? Katya, it has been four months."
"So?"
"So, don't you think you should try and talk to her."
"I reached out and she didn't answer. There's nothing else I can do." Katya sat on the sink and sighed. Two months before Katya's graduation, her and her mother got into a huge fight. Katya went against her better judgement and told her mother that she was dating an older woman, she didn't dare say that Trixie worked at the school. They yelled back and forth on the phone for about a hour before Katya gave up. The last thing her mother said was that she would not be coming to her daughter's graduation. Trixie told Katya that there was no way her mother meant that, that she was just upset. But Katya knew better, she knew that her mother had meant what she said. So, when she walked on that stage when her name was called, she didn't cry when she only saw her dad, sister, and aunt.
"I'm sorry baby."
"Don't be. It isn't your fault. I knew there was a chance she wouldn't be happy when I told her about us. I'm 19, I don't need her." Trixie sighed as she finished up her shower. She didn't like the thought of getting in between Katya and her mother. That was the last thing she wanted. Sure, she made Katya happy but Trixie knew that this whole thing still made Katya upset. "I go home tomorrow, Aunt Tempest wants to have a family dinner. She said there is something important she needs to tell my sister and I."
"Okay love, let me know if you need anything okay?"
"Thanks."

"So, how are you and Katya?"
"We are alright, I guess."
"You guess?" Thorgy asked as she walked to out onto the balcony, watering her plants. "Wait, where is she anyway? I thought she was spending a few days with you."
"She did, she stayed for four days. Her aunt wanted her to come home tonight though for dinner."
"Just dinner? That's a bit odd."
"Katya said she wanted to talk to her about something."
"Is everything okay?"
"I don't know but Katya will tell me if anything is wrong."
"I hope so but back to my question from before, what do you mean you guess?"
"Huh?"
"You said that you and Katya are alright, you guess."
"Oh, that."
"Yes, that. Now explain."
"There is nothing to explain."
"You wouldn't have said what you said if that was true." Thorgy leaned on the counter, looking at Trixie. Trixie sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.
"Katya and her mom got into a fight."
"About what?"
"Me, basically."
"What do you mean?"
"Katya told her mom about her dating an older woman, aka me. Let's just say her mother was not very happy."
"Shit, well why'd she tell her?"
"I don't know, I told her that she didn't have to but she wouldn't listen."
"I mean it can't be that bad. Kids and parents fight all the time, I still fight with mine. But after a few days, everything is okay."
"I don't know Thorgy. Her mother didn't come to her gradation, and they haven't spoken months. I feel like all of this is my fault."
"Hey, don't do that to yourself. You didn't do anything."
"Feels like I did."
"All you're doing is loving her, that's it." Trixie leaned back, looking out of the window.
"I guess you're right."
