*three weeks later*
"Okay class, that is all for today. Make sure to get that project turned in. That will be the last big grade before holiday break. Some of you can't afford to slack off and get a bad grade on it." Trixie waved to her students as they left the room. Everyone had left except Jan, who was waiting in her seat. "Is there something wrong Jan?"
"Ms. Mattel, do you like Katya?"
"Uh, she was a great student."
"You don't have to hide it, she told me about you two."
"She did?"
"Yes."
"That must have been weeks ago then."
"Why do you say that?"
"Katya hasn't spoken to me Jan. She said goodbye actually. We haven't talked in maybe two and half weeks, maybe a little more."
"Oh. I just thought..never mind it doesn't matter."
"What is it?"
"I was just thinking that is sorta strange."
"How so?"
"Uh, she is moving back today. She and Willam will be staying with their aunt."
"Well, that is good."
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm sure you girls miss her very much."
"But what about you?"
"What about me Jan?" Trixie turned her back to Jan, putting away papers.
"Isn't this good for the both of you?"
"Jan, there is nothing else going on between Katya and I. It is nice that she is moving back but she is just a student to me now. Nothing less, and surly nothing more."
"But.."
"Knock, knock," the music teacher and theatre director, Ms. X Change walked into the class. "Trixie girl, are we still on for drinks? We need to talk about that date you went on last night. Oh, hello Jan."
"Hi Ms. X Change."
"Trixie, come on. I need to hear everything." Monet grabbed Trixie's bag, pulling her out of the door.
"Alright, alright. Jan could you lock up the class for me?"
"Sure."
"Thanks, bye now." Jan waved as her teachers left the room. She sat back in her desk, putting her head down.

Katya looked outside the car window, watching the trees go by. She had been in the car for what seemed like forever. Her and Willam were finally on their way back home. Even though there was a slight chance of them not spending Christmas with their parents, they were fine with the idea. The girls felt as if they had been spending too much time with their parents anyway. There hadn't been much talking during the car trip. Mrs. Zamolodchikova decidesd not to come along for the ride, she was upset after all. The girls' father had not only told her that he was sending the girls back home but also that Katya was going back to school. Katya wanted to be happy about going back, but things between her and Trixie weren't gonna be the same. Katya looked down at her phone as it buzzed.
Willam: Are you okay? You look out of it
Katya: Yeah, I'm fine
Willam: Liar
Willam: What's wrong? Aren't you happy to be going back?
