*Monday 7pm-senior trip*
Trixie held a clipboard as she counted the students on her bus. Her bus was mostly filled with girls, which was no surprise. Trixie was the favorite teacher of the female students, even if they didn't have her as a teacher. They loved her style and wanted to talk her ear off. Jan and her friends were also on Trixie's bus. After much deliberation, Trixie decided she would be staying in the cabin with them. She liked Jan and the rest of the girls in that friend group, she couldn't say that when it came to the rest of her students though. "Okay, so we are just missing one person it seems. And that person is...Katya. Jan, have you spoken with Katya?"
"Not since Friday." Jan and Gigi looked at each other, remembering the conversion with Katya that went south.
"Does anyone know if Katya is coming?" There was silence and head shaking, which left Trixie a bit puzzled. Katya had turned in her permission slip and everything. It would make no sense for her to not be here. Trixie stepped off the bus and pulled out her phone, ready to send Katya a quick text. She knew Katya's number by heart, even if she had deleted the girl's number. Although, Trixie had no idea if Katya had blocked her or not.
"Ms. Mattel, there she is." Trixie looked up to see Katya walking towards her. Her heart felt as if it stopped when she saw what Katya was wearing, the pink hoodie she had given her.
"Sorry, I'm late."
"You're not late..yet. I was just a bit worried, no one had heard from you."
"I turned my phone off, busy with homework. Anyway so, is this your bus?"
"Yes, it is."
"Cool, um I was wondering if we could talk before we left?"
"Is something wrong?"
"Well, I wante-"
"Ms. Mattel, could you come here please?""
"Hold on Katya." Trixie softly smiled at Katya, before making her way over to Raven. Katya sighed and walked onto the bus, sitting all the way in the back. She put her earphones in and leaned her head against the window, closing her eyes. This trip was going to be terrible if Katya didn't get a chance to talk to Trixie.

Trixie didn't have time to talk to Katya before they left. When she was finally done figuring things out, Katya was already on the bus fast asleep. Trixie sat at the front of the bus and decided to read. The ride to the cabins would be a 13 hour drive and Trixie was hoping that there wouldn't be any trouble. She had enough to worry about considering the fact that Farrah was all alone in her home, with the keys to her car. Farrah decided that she wanted to spend more time with Trixie so she would condo sit for her big sister, and they could continue their bonding when Trixie got back. It was enough to almost make Trixie have a heart attack.
Katya woke up at about 11pm. She looked around, blinking to eake herself up. All of her friends were asleep. Jan and Divina were sitting together, music playing in their ears. While Crystal and Gigi were cuddled up with each other. Katya stood up and walked to the front of the bus, sitting next to Trixie. Trixie took out her earbuds and looked at Katya. "How long before we get there?"
"About 9 more hours."
"Ugh." Katya laid her head back and closed her eyes.
"Nice hoodie." Katya chuckled softly as she looked at Trixie for a moment. "Do you want to talk now? Almost everyone is asleep and those that aren't have in earbuds. They can't hear us." Katya looked out of the window, watching the streetlights go by. Trixie reached her hand out and softly held Katya's. The younger girl looked at Trixie and swallowed hard.
"I wanted to say sorry."
"Katya, I told you that the whole Sammy thing was fine."
"Not that."
"Oh? Then what?"
"For saying goodbye. It was wrong of me, shitty of me really." Katya ran her thumb over Trixie's hand, trying to find the right words. "I..I missed you a lot but had too much pride to tell you that. When I walked in on you and that other woman, I was hurt. I have been walking around miserable because I couldn't get my shit together. You have been nothing but nice to me. So, I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me." Katya kept her head down, tears hitting her jeans. Trixie could have swore she felt one of Katya's tear drops hit the back of her hand.
"I forgive you."
"What?"
"I said I forgive you."
"You do?"
"Yes." The two girls fell silent for moment.
"You're the reason Violet got fired, aren't you?"
"Would it be bad if I said yes?"
"No, but why?"
"Because I was tired of her. She was a pain in the ass." Trixie looked away as she rolled her eyes.
"Is that the only reason?" Trixie turned back around, her eyes meeting Katya's.
"I may have been upset with her."
"Why?"
"Because she tried to make your life hell and I didn't like that. She couldn't live with the fact that someone didn't want her."
"Thank you."
"You don't have to thank me." Katya hummed and laid her head on Trixie's shoulder. It warmed Trixie's heart, having Katya close again. Trixie wasn't going to say it but she missed Katya. Her friends had pointed out how bitchy she had gotten and truth be told, it was because of the situation with Katya. Trixie felt as if she had been heart broken all over again. After some time, Katya had fallen asleep with her head in Trixie's lap. Trixie held her hand over Katya's head, thinking, before finally placing it in her hair. It was comforting. Although, Trixie wouldn't make the same mistake as before. Loving this girl.
