Chapter 26

*Phil's POV*

I took a deep breath and knocked on Dr. Brown's office door she opened the door and smiled "Philip! Great to see you on time today" I came inside "I was already here, D-dan's staying here, H-he fell ill and its my fault" I said and she asked what happened "He wasn't eating well because I was awful to him, I got drunk and hurt him emotionally and all I ever talked about was dying, I didn't think it would affect him so much" I said quietly "How are things between you and Dan?" She asked "They're okay, better than before he's starting to warm up to me but we're still broken up" she nodded "So what do you think you'll do now?" She asked "I have to make it up to him, I want him to know that I'm here for him and I won't leave him" she wrote something down "And what about your thoughts from before?" She asked and I took a deep breath "I put him in too much pain, he's ill because of the way I was, if I kill myself then he will be even more broken, I can't do that I have to be there for him" she smiled at me "I'm proud of you Phil" The session went pretty well, I felt alright after it I didn't feel as depressed as I usually did. By the time I went back to Dan's room he was asleep it was 9 pm, wow I was in there for a while, Dan's mom arranged a room for me to stay in since I didn't want to leave Dan and go home, I had trouble sleeping as all I could think of was Dan. The next morning I got up early, I got something to eat from the vending machine as I didn't want to waste time in the cafeteria, I walked into Dan's room he was awake and making a face as his mum made him eat breakfast "Stop with the faces Dan it's almost done" she laughed "its gross" he stuck his tongue out and she rolled her eyes "Morning" I said "Good morning hun, did you sleep well?" His mum asked me smiling "Yeah I slept okay, here I'll try making him eat" I said taking the tray from her she smiled and  thanked me before leaving "I don't want to eat anymore" Dan said "You need to,breakfast is the most important meal of the day" I said "I don't like whatever this is" he said making a face "Its oatmeal Dan, what do you want to eat?" I sighed "Nothing" wow he's stubborn "Dan you're scary skinny, please for me?" He looked at me "don't expect me to agree because it's you asking" he rolled his eyes and I pouted "Ugh fine" he gave in and I smiled "besides there's like two spoons left" I laughed, he made faces "There all done!" I said setting the bowl aside "Finally, that was disgusting" he said I laughed and kissed his cheek, his cheeks turned pink. "So..how was your session?" He asked me awkwardly "Honestly Dan, it went pretty okay, I felt alright after it, it was actually helpful" I smiled and he smiled back, proper smiled back "Dan I'm really sorry, I'm sorry it took so long for me to apologize, I'm sorry I was awful and let you feel bad. But I want you to know, I love you so much" he stared at me for a while before kissing me softly "I know Phil" he whispered "Wait so do you forgive me?" I asked and he smiled "Sort of" I smiled "And this means we're boyfriends again?" He bit his lip "Umm I guess, but you're on probation" and I laughed "Fair enough". Things were going really well until Dan started breathing deeply and coughing " P-phil I-I can't breathe " his cheeks were turning bright pink "I'll get a doctor wait" I ran and brought the doctor and he pulled out what looked like an inhaler and Dan went back to normal "It was an asthma attack, I'll have to teach you how to use an inhaler" he explained to us about how Dan was really weak and will get exhausted easily and may need an inhaler. "Are you okay?" I asked him "Y-yeah, it just hurt to breathe" he said I kissed his forehead "You're okay now" and he smiled. "Daniel you're allowed to go home now, but you need to be careful you may feel sick while eating which is normal but if it gets bad and you feel dizzy you must say something, your mother will know what to do if she's home" he then looked at me "And you need to make sure he eats when he gets home, and that he's okay" I nodded, I'm not letting him leave my sight.

*Dan's POV*

Dad dropped us home before heading off to work, Phil made me eat with doctors orders I found everything disgusting, its like my body didn't want me eating what did I get myself into. I layed down on my bed and Phil sat on my bed "Phil, will you lay down with me?" I asked him its been forever since we were so close, I missed his arms around me I missed him so much I feel like I forgave him too quickly but I don't care. He layed down next to me and wrapped his arms around me and held me close, he kissed my cheek I felt relaxed everything was perfect, but then my stomach acted up "I think I'm going to be sick" I got up and rushed to the bathroom Phil followed me and held me above the toilet as I threw up "That's gross" I said getting up I rinsed my mouth and brushed my teeth. "Gross I got it on myself" I sighed "Here I got it" Phil said as he ran a warm bath and unbuttoned my shirt taking it off I felt myself blush "I'll wash this you get in the bath" he said "Wait wait can you make a bubble bath?" I asked him and he gave me an odd look and said okay, he was about to leave and I stopped him "help me get in?" And he stared "What?" I laughed "You're my boyfriend I trust you" he laughed and helped me in "Oh also, help me get out and help me dry off and get dressed?" He started blushing "Jesus Christ Dan, really?" And i burst out laughing "I'm joking I'm joking" he laughed and said he will be downstairs before leaving.

I was in the bath for about 20 minutes I got dressed and slowly head downstairs I was still really sore and weak but i didn't want to bother Phil too much, but half way there I felt too sore to walk "Phil??" I called out and he came out of the kitchen "You okay Dan?" He asked "Y-yeah, um can you well carry me? Im sorry I'm just really sore" I felt my cheeks go pink "Of course" he smiled and he carried me to the kitchen "You need to eat a bit" he reminded me and I shook my head "I already threw up I can't" I said and he pouted "Please for me?" Why must he do that, I ate little bit and felt slightly nauseous "Phil I feel sick" I said and he gently placed his hand over my mouth "You don't have to eat more just keep it in" he said softly and I nodded. After a while my stomach calmed down "Phil? Can we watch spongebob?" I asked him and he laughed "Uh sure?" He helped me move to the couch and we put spongebob on Netflix. I loved watching spongebob it made no sense and just made me laugh a lot. My stomach started hurting and Phil noticed me making a pained face "Are you okay?" He asked me "Stomach ache, but I'll be okay" I said "Wait here" he went into the kitchen and came back with a cup "drink this its green tea it'll help you" he said, I took it from him and drank it. I put the cup down after I finished and looked at Phil who seemed really into the show, he looked better he looked fresh it was nice seeing him like that, I snuggled up to him and kissed his shoulder. "Do you think when I'm 18 we could get married?" He looked and laughed "I think that's something we should think about when we're older Dan" I smiled "Well I love you enough" I kissed his shoulder again "I love you too, so much" he smiled at me "Oh oh we can have a spongebob wedding!" I said excited "Yeah we definitely should wait till we're older" and I laughed I shivered a bit and Phil got a huge blanket and put it over us on the couch we looked outside it was snowing. I stared outside admiring the snow when Phil says "Thank you for making me change my mind" I looked at him confused "I mean for making me choose to stay" he said softly, what does this mean "Y-you won't leave me?" I asked and he smiled at me "I'll never leave you" I never felt so happy before "I love you so much" he said and kissed me, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back i moved back so I was lying down on the couch and Phil was hovering over me not once breaking the kiss. "Why is it whenever I show up you two are always making out?" We got scared and sat up it was Peter I felt my cheeks go pink and he laughed. "Its freezing outside make room" he said lifting the blanket and sitting between us before setting the blanket down. "don't be a third wheel" Phil laughed kicking Peter off the couch "Ouch! What? I want some love too" he pouted "Seems like Dan forgave you, well I'm keeping an eye on you" he said suddenly getting serious before pulling Phil's leg making him fall off the couch and laughing like a maniac, yup Peter's back to being Peter "You dick" Phil said laughing and they both got back up on the couch. "So..why are we watching spongebob?" He asked "Because I like it,problem?" I laughed and he shook his head "No man, its very romantic, you know blankets spongebob, snow we might as well make a fire too" he joked "Can we seriously make a fire? I'm freezing" I said,Peter and Phil laughed as they set up the fireplace. This was perfect, its just what I needed.
