Chapter 35

*Dan's POV*

I woke up and I was alone, did I sleep in? I checked the time it was 9:45 am, where's Phil then? I got up and brushed my teeth and washed my face before heading downstairs, Phil was on the sofa with his laptop, he was wearing glasses and had a cup of coffee. "Morning" I said kissing his cheek "What are you doing up to early?" I asked. "I'm planning the wedding silly" he said he was so concentrated "Can you do that later?" I asked pouting and he laughed "Its important that we do this along the way Dan or we will have too many things piled up" he explained. I leaned in and kissed the corner of his mouth "If you're trying to distract me it won't work Dan" he laughed silently, I took this as a challenge "Really?" I whispered as I kissed from the corner of his earlobe, I nibbled on his earlobe and he moaned softly "D-dan stop trying to distract me" he said softly, I smirked to myself as I kissed his neck next gently biting it "I n-need to do this Dan" he said "You can do this later, come back to bed" I whispered grabbing his hand "Right after last night?" Phil laughed "So? Come on" I said pulling him "Later Dan, this is important" he said "But I'm important to aren't I?" I pouted "Of course you are, but we should do this then I need go to the store and then I'm all yours promise" he said kissing my nose  "Fine" I pouted snuggling close to him, he put his arm around me and went back to staring at his laptop "You should wear your glasses more often, you look good in them" I said once again going off topic "They get in the way, hey what do you think of these colours? Wine red and black" he asked me "They sound great, they'll go good together" I smiled. We spent the next hour looking at different wedding arrangements and tried getting ideas for what we should do. "Let's leave it at that for now" Phil said turning his laptop off "I need to go to the store to get a few groceries, I won't be too long and then I promised you something I think" he winked kissing my cheek "Hurry back" I called after him before he left. I decided to get up and eat something, I got myself a bowl of cereal, I ate it then washed my bowl and put it away. I heard a knock at the door, it couldn't be Phil he had keys, maybe it was Peter and Nina, I opened the door and it was Zoe she smiled at me "Is Phil home?" She asked "No he's not" I said I was about to close the door but she stopped me "Wait, I want to talk to you" she said "Last time you said that you had really horrible things to say so no" I said coldly "Please I really need to talk" I sighed and let her in,  she followed me inside and sat on the couch "You have ten minutes" I told her "Okay, so I know you think I hate you but I don't" she said and I rolled my eyes "No I really don't, I actually think you're cute" she said sweetly, I'm going to be sick "Right, you called me a pathetic emo" I said rolling my eyes "I don't know what I was thinking, but I didn't mean it" she said and I stood up "Okay I don't know where you're trying to get with this but you're crazy, literally crazy. You need to leave" Then without a warning she kissed me "What the fuck are you crazy?" I shouted but she pushed me to the couch and kissed me, I didn't kiss her back, I tried moving her away without hurting her but then she started touching me where I do not want to be touched by her, I gasped and pushed her off she nearly fell but kept her balance "Don't pretend like you didn't like that" she smirked "I did not like that, you're fucking crazy, get out of my house" I shouted "You're crazy Dan, you're crazy to think your marriage with Phil will even last a month" she said coldly, she really is crazy "The fact that you were one of his best friends and now you're out to ruin his life" I said "I'm trying to save it, you're no good for him, you're pathetic, worthless and the world will be a much better place if you weren't around" she said coldly before leaving. So that was her plan, try to get me to sleep with her so she could break me and Phil up. But what she said before leaving did hurt, I could care less if it was coming from her because she's crazy but it was true, it reminded me how much I actually hate  myself. I shouldn't let her words get to me though, she's just trying to ruin our lives maybe I should try distracting myself and forget what just happened. But what about Phil what if he gets mad when he finds out, I need to stop thinking about this. I went upstairs to our room and sat on the bed maybe I should read.

*Phil's POV*

It was pretty crowed outside today so it took a little longer than expected. I unlocked the door and put the groceries in the kitchen "Dan??" I called out but no response, he was probably upstairs. I went up to our room and he was sitting on the bed reading a book "There you are, I was looking for you" I said kissing his forehead "Oh, I-Im sorry" he said "Are you okay?" I asked him concerned "Yeah I'm fine" he gave me a small smile "Dan please tell me" I frowned "I'm fine Phil I promise" he kissed giving me a quick kiss, I pulled him back and kissed him passionately "I think I promised you something" I whispered, he kissed me back and I pulled him closer, he ran his hand up shirt and I started kissing and nibbling his neck he let out of small moan, I grabbed the bottom of his shirt to take it off but then Dan quickly moved back "What's wrong Dan?" I asked "I-I just want to shower first" he said "There's something you're not telling me" I said, he was worrying me now "I'm fine, I'm just going to take a shower" he said getting up and headed to the bathroom. There was something wrong I know it, I sat for 5 minutes but a voice in my head kept telling me to go check up on him so I did. I knocked on the door "Dan?" But no response, I turned the door knob and it was open, I went inside and found Dan on the ground with cuts on his arm "Dan?!" I had tears in my eyes "I-Im s-sorry Phil" he said weakly. I picked him up and carried him to our room, I got a first aid kit and cleaned and bandaged his wounds.  I was sobbing "What happened Dan? Why did you cut?" He looked at me "I-I felt worthless" he said quietly "But why? You were fine this morning" I stroked his cheek "When you left Zoe came saying she needed to talk, she kissed me and touched me when I pushed her away she said a bunch of things" That bitch "Dan you can't take what she says seriously" I said softly "It reminded me how much I actually hate myself how worthless I am, I just wanted to die or disappear at that moment" he sobbed "Don't say that babe" I wrapped my arms around him "I will deal with Zoe, wait" I got up and grabbed my phone and dialed her number "Hello?" She answered "Why the fuck were you at my house?" I asked "Oh did Daniel tell you? How we kissed?" she laughed "Yes he told me every single thing. You're a bitch" I said coldly "Aw come on don't be harsh , your boyfriend enjoyed it" she said "He didn't. That's considered rape Zoe. Now listen stay away from me and Dan or I will have you reported" and I hung up, hopefully she will back off now. "Phil I feel sick" Dan said getting up, I helped him to the bathroom and held him over the toilet and he threw up, I got a tissue and wiped his mouth "Are you okay?" I asked softly and he shook his head "I still feel sick" he said and then threw up again "Babe" I said softly, he had tears in his eyes "what about now?" I asked again wiping his mouth and he nodded. He rinsed his mouth and brushed his teeth and I took him back to our room "Lay down okay?" I said "Will you stay here with me?" He asked, I sat on the bed and he put his head on my lap "You have blood on your shirt" hr whispered "Oh I'll go change" I said "No don't leave" hr whispered "Babe I'm here I'm just getting a shirt, you need to change yours too" I said getting up, I changed my shirt and got Dan one too, I helped him out is his and then put the clean one on him. I sat back down and he put his head in my lap again "Phil what would you do without me?" He asked me "Like if I died?" That made my heart drop "Dan I'd die if that happens. Now promise me you won't ever think like that?" I said softly "I won't, it just came into my mind" he said softly "Promise me?" I asked "Yes I promise" he said sitting up and kissing my cheek "I'm really sorry" he said "Its not your fault, its Zoe I made sure she won't bother us" I pulled him into a hug. He wrapped his arms around  me and rested his head on my shoulder "I really love the smell of your cologne" he said softly smiling at me "I know you do" I laughed silently. "Come on let's go downstairs I'll make dinner you should eat something" I said grabbing his hand and he nodded.
