What up my Creampuffs! Did you miss me?
I'm sure just about all of you were waiting very patiently for my next chapter update for "My Roommate." It honestly took me longer than I expected for me to get my head cleared again.
But.
I'm honestly starting to feel a lot better. Things aren't stressing me out nearly as much anymore. I don't feel mentally drained as much anymore, nor do I feel as stressed or anxious.
But.
My mental well-being does relapse from time to time, as expected of course. So with that said, we're just going to take this one day at a time. I'll most likely be updating at least once a week, if not, every other week. Or maybe more than that. Who knows?
So without further ado, les get right into it.

Evan's POV—
"Wow. Look at you dressing nice for once," Ashley teases as I walk out of the closet, closing the door behind me.
"I dress nice," I say, trying to defend myself. "Sometimes," I mumble under my breath as I walk over my desk to grab the jacket I set over my chair with my shoes leaning against the wall on the space of floor next to the desk.
"Autumn said to dress casual, but not too casual. You know? So, this is what I call casual, but not too casual," I explain as I gesture at what I'm wearing before I sit down at my desk chair to put my plain old black vans on.
I had almost forgotten I had a cobalt blue button down shirt in the mixture of all my clothing in the closet. I forget who gave it to me, but I've hardly ever worn it. It's a nice shirt, so I decided to wear it tonight along with some black jeans.
I'm performing tonight with Autumn's band, so I mainly just want to look decent. But also make it look like I'm not trying too hard to impress anyone.
And as usual, the clothes that Ashley is wearing should be considered illegal.
At least her tight leggings should be.
They're fitting her like a second layer of skin—and yes, I've been having a hard time to not look.
I also just realized how many sweaters she owns. Knitted, wool or cotton, sweaters, that is. Over the head, and button up ones. The one she's wearing tonight is a button up, wool knitted dark sweater. Going along with her plain white t-shirt and black leggings.
"Well, you definitely look cute," she says as she walks on over. She sits down on my lap, sideways, making her legs hang over on the same side, and casually wraps her arms around my neck.
"I'm not cute," I say with a pout. She only softly laughs before she briefly kisses me.
"Keep telling yourself that," is all she says before she stands up and walks over towards her desk where her phone is located.
"Should we get going?" she asks me as she quickly sends a text.
"Yeah, may as well," I say as I get up and grab my beanie.
We already ate roughly an hour or so ago, and Ashley and I already told our parents that we had plans tonight, and that we'll be home late. Mainly because we have additional plans tonight other than just me performing with the band. But long story short, as long as we're home before midnight, our curfew, we're good.
Ashley and I haven't talked about telling our parents that we're dating yet. I guess part of it is because it's still relatively new.
But another part, at least where I'm concerned, is that I have no idea how they're going to react. They're dating each other—and hell, they'll probably get married some time soon. That'll make Ashley and me step siblings. And I don't think it's illegal to date your step-sibling. But if anything, it might/could still be frowned upon. Or maybe not, I don't know. Or, they just might not approve of it.
