Ashley's POV—
"Two days in a row she acted as your body guard." Sasha says with a small smirk as she quickly looks down the hall where Evan just ran off to shortly after we met up with Sasha, Isabella and Ben.
"She's not my body guard." I say as I try to bite back my smile as I open my locker to hang up my jacket.
The weather no longer knows what it's doing now. It was freezing yesterday. Today it's a lot warmer, but it's pouring outside. The forecast said that it's going to get even warmer tomorrow and then drop back down by Monday next week.
Just goes to show that Michigan can't decide what it wants to do with its weather.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have another white Christmas this year. We haven't had a true white Christmas for a couple years now. For the past couple of years, it would get cold and snow would fall. But then it would melt and wouldn't snow again until after Christmas. And even then, getting a whole lot of snow, like enough for a snow-day, doesn't typically happen that much anymore.
"Sure...she's just overprotective, then." Izzy adds on, making it more difficult to hide the blush that's threatening to spread across my face.
I can't stop thinking about yesterday. About what we, for lack of better words, agreed on. If she does well enough on her finals, all of them, and gets at least a B- on every single last one, then we'll go on a...
Despite my efforts at trying to hide it, my face grows red at the thought of it.
"Whoa. Someone sure is blushing. Thinking about Evan?" Sasha teases as she raises her eyebrow. I can only bite my lip as I close my locker and swing my backpack over my shoulder. She's not wrong though.
I can't get her out of my head.
Which, is still slightly confusing me.
Out of all the years I've known her, I've never once looked at her in this way before. Never. I always looked at her like another sibling. A best friend and someone who I could always rely on. And now, ever since we first kissed...
My face grows even more red.
"Shut up." I mumble under my breath as I try to ignore more of their teasing as I walk away from them, heading for my first class.
Finals start today. I'm ready for them, but I just don't want to actually take them. I mean, who would be big fans on taking exams? You'd have to be crazy to actually like taking exams. At least, that's my opinion.
But I guess the nice thing about exam week is that each day of the exams, we get to leave early. We only take 2 exams each day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and each day, we leave pretty much after two hours. At around 10 something.
"Ew. Don't look now, but Madison's practically hanging all over Andy." Sasha says as we continue down the hall. And sure enough, Madison is hanging all over him.
"Didn't know that Andy was into fake tits." she comments as we get closer and closer to them. Andy notices and smirks directly at me before he finally gives Madison his attention and pins her against the lockers. I can only roll my eyes at him.
Does he really think he can make me jealous?
He's an idiot for thinking that.
"They're fake?" Isabella asks. Sasha nods like it's the most obvious thing.
"Yeah. Extra padding or something like that. I walked in on her repositioning them in the bathroom in front of the mirrors the other day." she tells us.
