Tharn had woken up when someone shook him slowly. He opened his eyes to see his mother, standing beside him. "Good morning, Mae..." He waied at her.
Tharn's mum patted his head. "Good morning. How are you holding up, son?" She asked and Tharn shrugged before turning and looking at Type who was still sleeping peacefully.
"When will he wake up, Mae?" Tharn asked, as his voice broke and tears welled up in his eyes.
His mother pulled him into a hug, Tharn's head resting against her stomach as his eyes never left Type. "Soon, dear. Have some faith. He'll come back to you." Tharn nodded before closing his eyes and letting the tears roll down.
Tharn's mother cupped his face and lifted it so that she could see his face. She wiped away his tears. "Come, dad and Thorn are waiting outside to see you." She said and Tharn nodded.
He stood up and wiped away the rest of the tears. Casting one more look at Type, he walked out of the room with his mother. He was met with his father and brother outside.
"Wadee Por, P'Thorn." Tharn waied.
"Wadee. How are you holding up? How's Type?" Tharn's dad asked.
Tharn just shrugged. "I'm hanging in there waiting for him to wake up. Doctors said that he needs rest and that he will wake up anytime. But they aren't sure when." He bit his lip to avoid himself from thinking the what is scenarios.
Tharn's hand patted his shoulder. "He'll pull through, son. He's a fighter." Tharn nodded. He knew what his father said was true. Type is a fighter. He will survive this and come back to him.
"Has his parents been informed?" Tharn's mother asked and Tharn nodded again. "Krub. Doctor Arm is a family friend to Type's family. He had already informed them. They will be arriving today." Tharn said.
"I wish we could meet them. It's been a long time. But unfortunately, your father and I are needed at the company." Tharn's mother said sadly. It's been a couple of years since she saw her friend and she was wanting to meet her.
"It's fine, Mae. They will be here until Type wakes up. So you don't have to worry. You can meet her." Thorn made his mother realize.
"Right. Right." She said once she realized it.
"Have you had your breakfast yet?" Thorn asked Tharn and the latter shook his head.
"Come on, let's all go to the cafeteria and get you some breakfast." Thorn pulled Tharn along with him knowing that his brother will refuse if he wasn't dragged.
Tharn wasn't exactly happy with what had happened, but at the same time, he wasn't a person who would go against his elders. So he obeyed and went along with his family.
"Princess has gone to school?" Tharn asked and Thorn nodded.
"Yeah, Thanya wanted to come along with us to see you. But we promised her that she could meet you when she comes back home." Thorn explained and Tharn smiled. Thinking of their little sister always brought a smile to his face. She was the youngest among them. Thorn was the eldest and he has graduated from the university. He's currently working in their father's company. Tharn was the middle child. And Thanya is the last. She's in the seventh grade and is the Princess of the family. More than her parents, it's her brothers who pamper her a lot, especially Thorn.
"Tell Princess, that I miss her and will see her soon," Tharn said. Thorn nodded with her smile.
After their breakfast, Tharn parted from his family. They had to leave before they would be late for their jobs. Tharn walked back to Type's room and plopped himself down on the couch. Just as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, he got a call from Lhong.
