Leafshadow and Skystar exchanged worried glances, Crystalstar?
End of Recap
"Lionstrike." Leafshadow said, "What happened?"
"Oh," Lionstrike said. "Well...."
"Is Lightwhisper gone?" Skystar asked nervously. "What happened to Stormstar's nine lives?"
"To make a long story short, your mother, Lightwhisper, died of grief a couple of days later after Leafshadow's departure when none of you came back. Stormstar got a bit mad and crazy and went on a hunting patrol and never came back. The others that went on patrol with him said that he picked a fight with a nest of foxes and retrieved his body. From his wounds, what they were saying was probably true." Lionstrike explained quietly.
"Come on Lionstrike," Leafshadow said while trying to fight back tears, "Let's go."
Skystar nodded and pointed her tail behind her meaning for Lionstrike to follow. Lionstrike looked at Leafshadow and then back at his clan before he followed Skystar into the dense forest.
