Erica's POV

Niall had disappeared and left me in the middle of no where in London. I had no idea where I was or how to get back to either Dani or the boys flat. My phone rang at that moment, Liam.

"Hey Li."

"Erica what happened?" I frowned and sat on the curb,

"What do you mean?" He sighed,

"Why is Niall crying like someone died? Are you alright?"

My heart sunk, Nialler was crying and I wasn't there. But he did leave me on my own in a city I've never been to before.

"Yea I'm fine considering."

"Considering what?" I groaned and stood up,

"Niall left me on my own. I have no idea where I am or how to get home."

Liam grunted and I heard movement. "I'm going to get Niall to tell me where you would be. I'll come get you, just don't move from where you are unless you're in trouble alright?" I smiled,

"Thanks Li."

30 minutes later I saw a familiar black van approach. Paul and Liam jumped out and ran to me,

"'Erica are you alright?" Paul began fussing as Liam led me to the van. (PEDO PAUL) Paul closed the door after Liam and I jumped into the back.

"Is Niall ok?" was the first thing out of my mouth.

Liam gave me a small smile,

"He cried himself to sleep. But all I know is that it has something to do with Trixie." I nodded,

"A pap asked him what happened to her." Liam gasped and shook his head,

"no wonder he cried so much." I cocked my head,

"Who was Trixie?"

"Trixie is a past girlfriend of his; they were together for 3 years but they had always been best friends. He was absolutely in love with her, if he wasn't so young at the time I'm sure he would have proposed to her. But in 2009 she was diagnosed with terminal cancer in her lungs. She had only been given 3 months to live which broke out little Niall's heart. 6 weeks later she died in hospital. Her funeral was 5 days later. As the hearse with her coffin was driving towards the grave it was hit by an 18 wheeler and caught fire, burning everything and everyone inside. He never got to lay his Trixie to rest, it's haunted him ever since."

Tears were streaming down both of our faces. Niall didn't deserve to go through that, especially at that age.

We arrived at the lad's house a few minutes later. I ran straight inside ignoring everyone and into Niall's room where he was fast asleep, tears still streaming down his face. I chocked back a sob and slipped into bed beside him. He stirred and his eyes opened showing me his beautiful blue eyes full of sadness and grief.

"Oh Niall." I broke and started to sob into his shirt.

"Hey, hey Ezzy why are you crying?" I wrapped my arms around his torso and continued to cry. He rubbing my back and pressed kisses to the top of my head.

I finally got control of myself and sat up.

"You wanna tell me what's up?" He asked quietly taking my hands in his. I looked in his eyes and smiled slightly,

"Liam told me about Trixie, oh Niall I'm so sorry." I began to sob again.

He exhaled slowly and kissed my cheek,

"I'm still getting to terms with what happened to her Ezzy, but don't ever think for a second that I don't love you. Honest to the heavens I do, please don't think about what happened to Trixie to much. I just wasn't expecting the pap to say anything, I thought they all knew."

I nodded and kissed his bottom lip and snuggled against his chest,

"I love you Niall." He sighed and pulled me closer to him,

"I love you too Ezzy, so much."

"Can you show me photos of her? Please?" I asked. I felt him nod and he slipped off the bed and walked towards his cupboard. At the bottom, under all his shoes there was a large shoebox painted with flowers and hearts, very cliché but cute.

"We made this on out 2 year anniversary. We filled it with little love notes and photos. Every time we had a fight we would pull this box out and look through the photos to remind ourselves of what we were like when we were happy, it always seemed to work."

He lifted the lid and the scent of lavender filled the room making him chuckle,

"She wanted it to smell nice so she put a bag of dried lavender in here." I picked up a polaroid photo of Niall when he was younger with his arms around a young girl kissing her cheek making her giggle.

She had long, curly blonde hair, emerald green eyes and the most beautiful, fair skin I had ever seen. In other words she was gorgeous. She had light freckles sprinkled across her face and her hair was out with a daisy wreath placed on her head.

"Niall she's beautiful." He smiled as astray tear slid down his cheek,

"That's my favorite photo of us, it shows the real Trixie." We flicked through several photos, there were silly photos where they posed and some serious ones.

I picked up a small charred silver ring from the box,

"Was this hers?" He nodded sadly,

"It was a promise ring. I promised her that one day we would get married and live happily ever after. It was one of the only things that survived the fire." I pressed a kiss on the corner of his mouth,

"Tell me about her."

And there we sat for 5 hours as he told me everything about her, how they grew up together in Mullingar. The fact that they could tell each other anything and not be worried about what the other person thought.

"I trusted her with everything. She was the person I went to when my parents split up, every time they fought over the phone or when Dad and Greg fought. She was my solace and my rock, I miss her every day but I know she's in a better place. She doesn't have cancer anymore and she has her beautiful hair again. She's more perfect than she was on earth."

I listen intently knowing it wasn't easy for him to talk. Every now and then he would burst in tears and I would sit there with him until he was ready to continue. It was important for him to talk it out, tell someone about it so he wasn't carrying the entire burden himself.

At around 7pm there was a knock at the door; Liam opened the door surprised to see us up.

"Are you two alright?" We nodded and he came and sat beside us. His eyes widened when he realised what we were looking at.

"When you two are done harry made fajitas for dinner so head down when you're ready." We thanked him and he disappeared downstairs.

"Let's go get something to eat, I'm famished." He complained and sat the box down. I giggled and stood up,

"I promise to show you more after dinner." I nodded and grinned,

"Then I can show you photos of my Mother." He grinned like a kid on Christmas,

"Sounds good."

Together we spent the rest of the night eating cold pizza and looking through more photos and cute love letters. He was a lot happier looking through their memories, he told me their inside jokes and taught me their secret handshake.

It meant so much me knowing that Niall trusted me with all this information. I love Niall and I wish we could have more moments like this in the future.
