Ryan's POV.

Brad is under arrest. Police found enough evidence to put him behind bars next to his dad. I was guaranteed that Kate doesn't have to go to court because of him. Now I have one more thing to do. I need Lisa for that so I quickly call her.

"Hey Lisa. Sorry to disturb but I need you to come with me to Scotland."

She fell silent for a second but then asked immediately with her usual cheerfulness:
"When are we leaving?"

Now I just smiled as an idiot how easy it was to convince Lisa.
"In two hours? Is it manageable for you? Of course your leave is already arranged with HR. Just pack warm clothes, it's kinda cold in Scotland. "

"Okay. Can I ask what you are planning?"

"I will tell you everything on the plane. Don't worry. Everything's all right. I just want both you and Matt to be with us. Kate needs you. We will talk about the rest."

I hung up and quickly packed everything to leave. I rushed to the office to have a check up with Mark how's everything but he calmed me down that everything's going fine. We scheduled some meetings to have them online, I try to be present at least online. Then when I finished with everything, it was already an hour later and I haven't even done what was the most important. Earlier I was looking at jewellery stores to find something for Kate but one week earlier I found the perfect one. It is a beautiful small jewellery store where the most beautiful handmade jewelleries are made. I contacted the artist and we already designed the best gift for my angel. Now I just have to pick it up. It is already prepared and packaged. When I finished with that too, I realised I need to leave to meet Lisa.
We met at the airport. Lisa can never hide her feelings so I could see that she is worried too. And she doesn't even know about the suicide attempt..But I know what will be the one thing that will immediately calm her down. I showed her the jewellery box and her worries were blown away.
We have been talking a lot on the plane, I told her as much as I could about the situation with Kate and why I needed Matt. I know that it could be hard for her but I had to tell her that Kate wanted to commit suicide. And Matt was the first that I could run to. I never thought that I will say something like this one day. Lisa was extremely sad about everything that happened but at least Brad was arrested. I will tell it to Kate as well. I have been thinking about not telling her. But all my secrets led to these horrible events.
I didn't call Matt about the fact that we are coming together with Lisa so we just suprised them.
I asked Lisa to wait outside to convince Kate to go outside. I honestly didn't know how she will react to me. But the best happened.
She was sitting on the sofa, the Bible in her hands and she looked so peaceful like never before in this chaos.
And when she saw me.. She ran to my arms. At that moment I felt that I am one of the happiest man alive. Her eyes were shining with love and she quickly kissed me with so much love and desire that I nearly lost my mind. That's when Matt cleared his throat and sad with a laugh:
"Okay lovers, you can stop. Leave it to the bedroom."

Now all of us were laughing and God it was amazing. I feel that I can't laugh anymore. And to see Kate laugh. I haven't seen her this happy in months. And to know that I will make her even happier was an amazing feeling. But Matt did miracles that's for sure. And I guess Elijah was here as well. My angel really tried in these days when I was away. But there was an other suprise waiting for her outside.
"I didn't came back without a gift sweetheart. I have a suprise for you outside."

Her eyes widened and she said apologetically:
"You didn't have to Ryan.. I behaved terribly with you and you suprise me again.."

But I just smiled and encouraged her:
"I know what you would deserve baby and I will never be able to give you the world so I am just trying. Just go out. We will be behind you. Don't be afraid."

And she just started to walk towards the door carefully. She opened it and when she saw Lisa,she was soo soo happy. They hugged each other for a very long time and just cried. I don't know whether they had happy or sad tears but I guess it was both.
Matt also joined them to hug and we went into the living room to rest a bit. We came out to the kitchen with Lisa cause we were the only two that knew about the biggest suprise. We brought drinks to all of us and we had been talking on the couch for hours what we will do now that they are all here in Scotland. Kate is so excited. It's amazing to see it. Lisa went out to refill her glass and when she came back, she did the exact thing we discussed. She covered Kate's eyes with her hands and told her that she has another suprise.
That was the time when I got down to my knees and opened the custom jewellery box with two matching rings perfectly fit to our sizes.
Lisa let Kate open her eyes to me saying:
"Marry me tomorrow. I will never ever leave your side love. Be my wife tomorrow. "
