Ryan's POV

We had some amazing days after the day of the concert and the mass. It really helped Kate a lot. I can't say that she never had bad moments, cause that would be a lie. When you are dealing with depression, it's a never ending roller coaster ride with unexpected loops. You need to learn to handle the downfalls but handling doesn't mean that you won't feel down. She had some terrible moments when her anger reappeared, she had some fearful moments as well as many depressed ones with tears. A lot of tears. But I tried and tried to be there for her,mostly just holding her tight, caressing her and pray next to her to help her be a bit more hopeful. Sometimes it worked,sometimes not. Sometimes prayer helped her and she joined in but sometimes not. There were times when we could talk about her state. She helped me understand it more and more. She told me that her depressed state can hardly let anything through her barriers she builds at that time. She doesn't even open up to God. She is in a highly defensive way while feeling extreme sadness. It must be terrible. But I won't give up on helping my angel. So we are struggling but we have some concentrated time as well for work. Tomorrow we are having our first meeting with the first candidate for the job here in Scotland. Firstly we are interviewing renewable energy specialists for the main work to build the first wind turbines. They have to be familiar with the building of the exact parts for the turbines cause we will have to be able to produce every part of the turbines to offer quality guarantee for all the parts. To guarantee that everything is prepared under our specialists' hands. I won't have anything ordered, expect for screws. All the metal parts and electronics and plastic materials must be produced by us. So we need numerous specialists to combine their knowledge. But first we need to find someone who knows what kind of specialists do we need and who is familiar with all the building processes. That's what we are interviewing for. God,I am not even qualified to make an interview. It's really a hard project cause I don't have much knowledge in this field and experiment but it's something that I was always curious about. I always knew that someday I will work with renewables but I knew that it will be a hell of a time to have enough income in the company to start expanding. I won't say that my company is not profitable, hugely profitable but not that much to take this amount of risk. Until now. I stabilised our finances enough that we can have this project and no matter what happens the company will stand on its solid ground so I don't have to mix interests. I will have this renewable project on it's own and I will establish a whole new company for only this project. And Kate will be hugely involved in it. We will have this company as shared owners. No, I haven't told her it yet but everything is under planning. And I also need to wait for the perfect time, cause Kate has to much things to deal with now. She would be happy at first but in her current state, it would just bring worry and self appreciation problems in the long run.
She is currently working on her presentation cause now we are representing the company and our successes to persuade the candidates to have interest in working with us.
Sounds strange that we introduce our company and goals as well but we are interviewing highly skilled professionals who can find jobs to all of their fingers. So we need to show them the stable background that would support their work.
So Kate is working on the presentation, we are reviewing it in half an hour before we leave.
Kate planned the place of the interview, in a renewable energy centre with a nice organic food restaurant in it. So she made the absolute perfect choice.

As I get on my suit,my phone rings. I am not planning on answering it but it keeps on ringing. As I grab it, I can see David's name on the screen. I must answer him. There must be new info in the investigation against Brad.

"Hey, David. Good to hear from you. Any news?"

"Hello Ryan. Yeah, we have some news but I am not really sure you will be happy about it."

"What happened? Did you find something this easy?"

"Yes, Ryan. You remember the pictures what Brad sent to Kate about the accident of Kate's parents? There is a pretty good reason how he got those pictures. "

"Of course I remember. It would be the best thing in my life to forget David. But how did he get those pictures? Tell me David. Don't cover it up."

There was silence in the phone but what happened next was the worst thing that I wanted to hear. The one thing that will ruin Kate's life. And something that I must make a decision on telling Kate or when to tell it to Kate.

"He had them because he could get it from a lawyer. You know what this guy's name, Ryan? His name is Brad Lawrence. And he got these pictures from the files of Peter Lawrence who got 10 years in prison for drunk driving and murder. "

"Oh my God. No. Please David, no. It can't be."

"It is Ryan. Brad's father is the one who killed Kate's parents. He knew it all along that his father is in jail connected to Kate. And he thinks it's Kate's fault. It was never accidental that he wanted to get close to Kate. I am sorry Ryan."

"Thanks, David. Sorry but I really need to leave now. I will call you tonight as soon as I am finished. "

And I hung up. I can't believe it. How could I tell it to Kate? Hell no, I am not able to do it. So I'll wait. But until the time, I'll call Matt.
I only have 10 minutes before talking over everything with Kate but I need to talk to Matt about it.

He answered his phone for the third time.
"Hey Ryan,is Kate alright? We talked two days ago on Skype and she didn't look so good."

"And she won't be happier Matt. You know I told you about the detective I hired. Fuck he found major things. And I just can't stress Kate with it. She would break. "

"Tell me Ryan what is it? You can't keep any secrets from her. Haven't you learned from your mistakes?"

"Then how would you tell it to her that Brad's father was the one who killed her parents?" I was waiting for Matt's response but something way worse happened. Kate stood at the doorway, extremely pale and shaking.
