The girl with purple hair insisted she stayed with me until she knew I was at Azkaban safety. I closed my eyes and felt myself being lifted and spun through the air.
When we landed I looked up at one of the tallest, and scariest building I'd ever seen. Dementors were floating above us, and we were surrounded by water. It seemed as if the sun would never come up here, everything was so dark. I took a few breaths trying to remain as calm as I could. "Don't I at least get a trial? I didn't kill my own mother I should get a chance to prove that." I pleaded. The aurors shook their head. "Your wand did it. You're a murderer, nothing but a cold blooded..." the girl stopped him. "Enough Mad-eye."
We started walking to the entrance and that's when I started to panick. "I can't go please. I DIDNT DO ANYTHING. Those men, Snape they're death eaters please believe me." The girl sighed, "my names Tonks." I looked up at her begging, "Tonks, please believe me." She placed a hand on my shoulder, "I want to Clara, I really do." I looked down trying to blink away my tears. The one named Mad-eye marched me into the prison and I kept my eyes glued to the floor feeling nothing but horror and anger.
A guard marched to the front quickly grabbing my arm firmly. "This her?" Madeye nodded, "keep her away from those death eaters if you can." I looked up at him feeling slightly grateful. "We're crammed only one cell I have for the girl right now. Blacks." My heart stopped, "you're putting me with the mass murder?" The guard pushed me against the wall, "from what I've heard you're not all that innocent yourself." I glared up at him, "I didn't do anything." Madeye pulled him back, "there's no other cell?" The guard shook his head, "I'll do my job, you do yours."
The guard started leading me into the prison. Screams erupted from all the other cells, death eaters were stretching their arms out trying to grab me. I took small short breaths trying to keep my legs from collapsing. We walked for what seemed like hours before we came to the final cell, it seemed isolated. "Got you a new roommate Black." The guard chuckled slamming me down into the ground. I quickly stood back up, grasping the bars. "Please. Please is there any other cell. I'm begging you." The guard laughed, "shut up you stupid girl. Murderers stay in cells together. He turned to walk away and I started hitting and kicking the bars, "IM NOT A MURDERER I DIDNT DO ANYTHING." I continued screaming until I realized it wouldn't be much use.
I turned my head in absolutely horror staring at the man huddled in the corner. He had jet black hair it looked similar to mine only shorter. Tattoos covered his chest, and his clothes were old and ripped. He didn't seem to pay any attention to me. I hesitantly made my way into the opposite corner shoving my self as far back into the wall as I could. I grabbed the old thin sheet they placed on my bed and wrapped it around myself trying to stop myself from shaking.
I saw underneath my bed a sharp looking rock, I stretched my foot out dragging the stone closer to me as quietly as possible. If I was going to die in here it wasn't going to be from a rock. I examined it, then stared at the wall above my bed, it had markings. Black was counting the days he had been here. I began counting myself, and accidentally whispered "twelve years." This made the man turn to stare at me, my stomach dropped and I quickly looked back down. I held the rock tightly in my hand ready to use it if I had too.
Once I was sure his head had turned back around I let out a sigh of relief. I pressed my head against the wall letting a few tears of anger and fear slip out. My mother was dead. My father hates me so much he'd have me put in Azkaban, and worst of all no one believed me.
I slowly drifted off, and woke up screaming when I saw Sirius Black standing over top of me. My eyes were wide with horror, and I felt around on the ground for the rock. "You have my rock?" I carefully nodded. He held out his hand impatiently waiting for me to give it back to him. "What are you going to do with it?" I asked shakily. He shook his head, "mark the bloody wall, you think I'm going to kill you right here with a rock." I still wasn't entirely confident he wasn't. "What if you do?" He scoffed, "don't make me get it myself."
I stood up standing face to face with him. "I don't want to die in here." He nodded, "you won't, if you give me the rock." I placed it in his hands stepping back a few feet. I watched as he marked one extra line, for one more day. He then made his way to a new wall, and put exactly one line. "Welcome to Azkaban. Would you like the rock back?"
I quickly grabbed it sitting back in my corner staring at my wall. This was a place I'd have never imagined myself. What were all my friends going to say. Ron, Harry, Hermione, Fred, George. They'd all think I became a murderer, all because Severus Snape said I was.
