I was now lying flat on my back still trying to catch my breath. I truly didn't know how many times you had to be tortured before you were killed, but I imagined I had to be pretty close to dying.

"We have to go," I heard Lucious whisper. Bellatrix shook her head, "the girl is still alive." He scoffed, "she'll be dead by morning; no one will find her here. We need to go Harry's arrived."

I closed my eyes letting the tears fall out. I tried to lift my arm but it wouldn't stop shaking. I fought hard to keep my eyes open but it didn't mean much because they shut all by themselves.

"CLARA." I felt myself being shaken, and I could hear the panic in his voice. My eyes slowly opened and I could see the slight outline of Harry holding me in his arms. "She's alive. Harry stop." This sounded like Dumbledore. I felt a stinging pain as Harry helped me sit up, and my eyes widened when I saw Voldemort standing over us. "You're still alive girl?" He spat. I started to breath quicker remembering everything he made me do last year. "You don't look well. You really don't look good. I should kill you first out of pure mercy." I met his eyes, "fuck you." That took the last bit of strength I had left.

Voldemort laughed, "you're both going to die tonight." I let myself go half expecting to hit the ground and not wake up again. I could hear the screaming in the background and the best I could do was hold onto Harry. "I'm sorry Clara," I heard him softly whisper.

I did my best to hold my eyes open, if he was going to kill me, I wanted to look him in the eyes as he did it. Dumbledore stood in front of us creating a shield to defend us from the curses he was throwing.

I heard the footsteps and voices of dozens of people hurrying towards us. "It's the ministry." I heard someone say. "He's back. The dark lord is back." The next thing I saw was a blinding light as a reporter knelt down taking pictures of the three of us.

"Clara," I heard someone whisper. "It's Remus." I forced my eyes open. "We need to get her help." I heard Hermione behind him, "does she know about Sirius?" Harry shook his head, "she's been here for hours. How would she know?" I took a deep breath, "Sirius?" Remus kneeled down, "it's not the time." My heart started to beat faster, "I tried to get to him." Harry sighed, "he wasn't here when I thought he was. Voldemort made me see him."

I started to crawl barely able to move. "Clara, you don't want to go in there." I ignored them still forcing myself along. I had just entered the room when I saw what they didn't want me too. Sirius' body was still on the ground. He was dead.

I let out a small scream and put my hands on his shoulders trying to wake him up. My blood and tears were falling from my face to his and I wasn't able to hold myself up anymore I fell down onto his body crying heavily. I ignored every attempt Madeye, Tonks, Remus and Kingsley used to get me up, I couldn't move. I couldn't process what had happened. "You're going to bleed out," Madeye whispered. "THEN LET ME." I screamed still clinging onto Sirius.

Remus picked me up, and Madeye helped even as I tried to get away. I was screaming and fighting desperately until they had me pinned down on the hospital bed. When I realized I couldn't fight anymore I went still, closing my eyes, barely able to lift my chest. "What's happening?" I heard Remus ask. "Is she dead?" Madeye asked Madam Pomfrey. I felt the cold rag on my skin as she began to wipe off the blood. "She'll pull through. She's a strong girl."

I woke up completely unaware of my surroundings at first. It took me a minute to sit up and come to terms with where I was. My eyes immediately pooled with tears as I swung my legs off the bed. There were cuts and scars lining my body, and my hair was pulled back into a knotted mess. I took a deep breath before pushing open the door to the hallway.
