The first thing that happens when I enter Riverdale High is a tall and slender figure attacking me.

"My poor baby was so sick," Nena cooed, squeezing the life out of me into a giant hug.

"Your poor baby is about to die," I tried to joke, wheezing out as she released me. I gasped out and dramatically hit my chest a couple times before engulfing her in a tighter hug. I think I missed her a little more than anyone else.

Turning my head over to Marcie, I also gave her a big hug even though I saw her on Monday and video chatted the other two days. She patted my back and pulled me off of her. She doesn't like hugs.

"Is no one going to give me a hug?" Sam asked, waving his arms for attention. He caught the eye of Mandy who has been staring at him for a while and hid behind Chase for protection.

Chase turned around and buried Sam's face into his armpit and Sam thrashed his arms out and screamed. "There's your hug," he said, grinning at him.

"You little fucker-"

"Watch your language Samuel," the principal warned, giving us all a smile before walking away. It wasn't surprising that she knew his name, Sam did spend more time in the principal's office than in the actual classroom. One time he tied the teacher's shoelaces together while he was sleeping. The aftermath was hilarious.

"My bad!" he hollered back, not sounding sorry at all. As usual, all eyes were on him as we passed through the halls. His shoulders were tense and he kept looking out as if he was going to attack someone.

"What's wrong?" I whispered to him. He shook his head and told me not to worry, which only caused me to worry more. His fists were clenched and that only happens when he's really pissed off.

My question was answered pretty soon as Trent and his friends passed by, along with another person who hid behind Trent. His hair kind of looked familiar...

Before I could sneak a look at him, Sam lunged himself on Archer and repeatedly punched his face, and of course Archer reacted. As they fell on the ground, Archer tried to straddle him and aimed for his nose. What the hell is happening right now?

Sam was clearly more muscular but the knuckles of Archer's hands had more power as the bruises on Sam's face were much more prominent. It didn't stop Sam from landing a few punches on his jaw and nose. That's going to be hard to heal.

"What the hell was that for?" Archer spat out, punching Sam in the shoulder this time. He didn't even flinch even though that must hurt like a bitch.

"I think you know exactly why I did that," Sam growled, slamming Archer against the lockers to punch his face again. Seriously, where are the teachers when you need them? I looked around to see students recording and betting on who's going to win. People these days.

"Oh for fuck's sake get over it," he rolled his eyes, arrogantly pushing Sam off of him to swagger back to his friends. I tried my best not to shave his hair off right then and there. I tried to rush over to pull the guys apart but Luke pulled me back and gave me a warning look, one that said to not get involved. How can I not get involved when my friend is getting punched in the face because of me? I'm not worth that much. Luke loosened his grip on me once I stopped struggling.

"I'll get over it once I throw dirty grass at your grave." With that statement, the asshole tried to throw another punch but Sam was too quick from him. He really should have just broken his arm and run away.

"Hey bitch!" Archer called. It took me a moment to realize that he was talking to me. Everyone stopped and turned their attention towards me. I tried not to squirm under their stare.
