"What the hell happened to your face?" Lena snickered in the car. I was about to question her but then remembered that she and Katherine took a girls day out yesterday and the day before yesterday. It's a wonder how they pass school.
"Sammy, did you punch her?" Katherine spoke before I could. What? Where the hell does she get this shit?
"Shut up Katerina," Luke ordered from the front seat. He loves me so much that he made me sit in the back with she-devil one and two. "I swear to god you are so lucky that you're a girl."
"I second that," Sam piped in.
"You're lucky I already got you back," Bethany added. We all raised an eyebrow at her. "Look at your hair."
Katherine threw her hair to her front shoulder and screamed at what she saw. Holy shit my sister is a genius. "YOU BITCH!" she screamed. "MY HAIR IS GREEN."
"MY EARDRUMS ARE BROKEN BUT YOU DON'T SEE MY COMPLAINING!" I yelled back. "No one calls my sister a bitch but me, say sorry to her or I will cut your hair with my eyes closed when you sleep."
She seemed genuinely scared by my pathetic threat and muttered a quick apology. "Sammy, can you turn around?'
"We have a quiz, not happening," he shrugged.
"I'm skipping class," Luke shrugged. "Some girl offered me a quickie and I'm in the mood. You can't turn around Sammy."
"Gross," Beth and I said in unison while Sam bumped his fist with my brother. No one wants to hear about their brother's sexual life, it's disturbing.
"Stop the car!" she yelled. Sam pressed on the brakes harshly, clearly startled and gave her a deathly glare. I opened the door and we both shoved each other out of the way. What a twat.
"Guess what Melissa just told me!" Lena happily exclaimed. "Apparently, Josh and Sam got into a HUGE fight and he's suspended and Blake is going to break up with this ugly duckling here."
"Really?" I asked, not surprised by the rumors. Truth to be told, I was expecting something worse. "You do know that rumors are false, right?"
"Then why else were you two having a serious talk?" she asked, twirling her overly conditioned hair around her fake nails. I noticed how she dyed the tips blond. It did not suit her.
"Because he wanted her to meet his parents," Sam snorted, lying a little.
Her devious smirk immediately turned into a scowl and she glared at me. "Why would he want you to meet his parents?"
"Because that's what people do when they're dating, they meet each other's parents," I said in a flat tone. My patience was already gone but this wasn't the real Lena so I didn't do anything.
"When is he going to meet yours?" she asked with an evil smirk. I heard Luke and Bethany suck in a sharp breath and he clutched the seatbelt. Deep breaths Lauren, keep your emotions together. Sam harshly slammed his brakes in the parking lot and glared at his sister.
"Get out of the car," he ordered with an enraged look. I bit my lip with anticipation. It's never good when Sam's mad.
"It's not your car," she barked, staying put with her arms crossed. She didn't look even a bit sorry as she rolled her eyes at her brother. My siblings and I exchanged a look through the mirror and got out of the car.
"She's lucky she's Sam's sister," he said in a hoarse voice. We walked over to the other side of the school where there were a couple benches and sat down.
I couldn't say anything with the lump in my throat and slowly nodded.
"Sam should keep his sister under control," Beth shook her head, wiping away a tear.
