"Get up!" a voice ordered, shaking me awake. It's three in the morning and not the time to be woken up. Do I ever get peace?
"Go away Sam," I mumbled, slapping the hand away. I snuggled deeper into the covers but the hand kept shaking me.
"It's like five in the morning," I groaned. "Leave me alone."
"That's not how you get her out," another voice said. Suddenly, a large and heavy frame jumped on top of me, crushing every bone in my body. What the hell. Instantly, I was awake and opened my eyes to see Sam grinning at me.
"I hate you," I stated, pushing him off the bed. He landed on the ground with a loud thud and groaned in pain as Mila laughed her ass off.
"You two are hilarious," she giggled, pulling me out and throwing me into the bathroom. I purposefully took a long time in the shower to annoy her and came out in a towel to get my clothes.
Just as I was about to go into my closet, I noticed a figure sitting on my bed, staring at me.
"Get out!" I yelled at Sam. He continued to ignore me and lick his lips as he stared at my legs. Thank god this towel is long.
Knowing that he wouldn't move, I slammed the closet door shut and locked the door, quickly slipping on a green tank top and black leggings.
Ignoring the smirking idiot, I made my way down the stairs and opened up the fridge to find something to eat. I'm starving. I took out a slice of pizza and reheated it, taking a seat on the counter.
"Hello princess," he smugly greeted, taking a seat across from me. I looked at him before going back to eating my food and scrolling through Twitter. There was no way that I was going to give in. "You're going to talk to me? C'mon princess, if I said that I was sorry I would be lying." I flipped the bird at that.
Chuckling, he stretched back in his seat, purposefully making his shirt rise up to reveal his abs and v-line. Damn, I really want to pour chocolate and lick those- hold up Lauren! I shook my head and felt my cheeks heat up. This guy makes me think crazy things.
"Aww, is my little princess blushing at a little skin," he cooed, leaning over to pinch my cheeks. I felt my whole body heat up this time and I slapped his hands away, scowling.
"Stop harassing Lauren," Mila scolded, sitting next to me. "Do you want to come with me to Massachusetts?"
"Sure," I agreed. "What are we visiting?"
"Her old boyfriend," Sam snickered. Huh?
"Stop being immature," she scolded, blushing a little. "My boyfriend is picking us up to tour around a bit. We can stay at his penthouse and come back tomorrow. There's space in his car for five other people." Okay, so Sam and four others. Obviously, I would ask our friends to come. Whoever was free was welcome as long as Mila was okay with it.
"Can we visit that cafe we always go to?" he begged. We both stared at him. "What? It's not like she has other friends to pick anyway."
"Marcie and Liam have a double date later with Nena and Chase. I would have asked Blake but someone here is a little excited." That's a lie, his name didn't even cross my mind but no one was allowed to know that.
"Would he really want to come anyway?" he dryly asked. I unlocked my phone and found a couple unopened texts from him. This is weird, we barely ever text or call.
Do you wanna come over today? I bit my lip and decided to spend time with Mila instead. Who knows when I'm going to see her again? Sorry, Sam's cousin came over, I texted back.
Really? Are you going anywhere? Should I invite him to come in a car with Sam? Why not?
Yeah, I texted. She's driving Sam and I to Massachusetts. Do you want to come? It's overnight.
