"Gandalf?"

asked Théoden. The White Wizard looked his good friend with a relieved look. He leaned on his staff and said

"Breathe the free air again, friend."

The King of Rohan looked around his Hall, looked at his people, his saviour, his saviour's friends. He spoke

"Dark have been my dreams of late."

Nymerial looked over to Grima, the one who caused these dreams. He was the one who had been whispering the shadow-filled words. She almost started to imagine killing that man, when Gandalf interrupted her thoughts by saying

"Your fingers would remember their old strength better-if they grasped your sword."

The guard who let Gandalf in with his staff brought a sword. It had two golden horse heads on the top of the hilt with their noses touching and the holding part was reddish brown. The blade was shining in the light that had filled the Golden Hall. Théoden drew the sword and Nymerial could have sworn the light had filled her body and soul as well. The King examined the sword.

But his gaze then travelled away, towards Grima Wormtongue. That man, no BEAST , was now cowering on the floor before his master. Grima tried to escape under Gimli's foot but it didn't matter what he did. Guards lifted him up under his shoulders and dragged him across the Hall, towards the door.

Nymerial ran past them and opened the doors for them. She even lifted her hand, motioning to the stairs. And the guards followed her thoughts, they threw Grima down the stairs. As he was rolling down, the others had come out and were now looking at the man whose face had trails of blood on it. He looked towards Théoden, fear in his eyes, and said, trying to make the King spare his life

"Argh! I have only ever served you my lord."

But the King's eyes remained cold and harsh. He came down the stairs and looked Grima dead in the eyes. He spat at the man he had trusted

"Your leechcraft would have had me crawling on all fours like a beast!"

But Grima Wormtongue was still begging

"Send me not from your side!"

Théoden lifted his sword at his pleading and was bringing it down but was stopped. Aragorn and Nymerial had grabbed the King's hands. Aragorn said to him

"No, my lord! No my lord. Let him go."

Nymerial added

"Enough blood has been spilt on his account."

Aragorn let go of the hand and held out his to Grima. But Grima looked at it in disgust, then spat on it. He stood up quickly and ran towards the town, pushing away the people who had come to see their King

"Get out of the way!"

Everybody was staring back at Grima when their attention was brought back to the King by Aragorn. He yelled out loud

"Hail, Théoden, King!"

The people bowed down before Théoden King. So did everybody next to the King. Well, everybody except Nymerial. But the King didn't pay muc attention to it. Instead he asked from Gandalf

"Where is Théodred? Where is my son?"
