Thirty

Cheryl began to stir first instantly regretting her alcohol intake, she groaned as she rubbed her eyes trying to ignore the pain in her head. Toni cracked her eye open when she felt the redhead move 'everything okay babe?'. 'I'm hungover' she complained. 'I don't feel so bad' Toni replied their naked bodies still pressed against each other. As Toni lifted her body from Cheryl in an attempt to look at her girlfriend her eyes widened. 'Oh my god' she tried to hide her laugh. 'What?' Cheryl questioned suspiciously. 'I think we got a little carried away last night' Toni smirked. 'Why?' the redhead looked confused. 'Okay, when you look in the mirror just remember how much of a great time we had last night and that you chose to be in a relationship with me because you think I'm amazing. Also we both should take equal responsibility for the outcome of our love making' Toni rambled trying to hide her smile and give her best puppy eyes. 'Toni what are you talking about?' Cheryl said as she pulled herself from underneath Toni and walked towards the bathroom. 'You look amazing this morning by the way' Toni called taking in the redheads naked body as she disappeared into the bathroom.

Cheryl put her hair into a messy bun before she got to the mirror, as she took a look at herself her eyes widened. 'Toni I'm gonna kill you' she yelled. She turned to see the shorter woman wrapped in her blanket with a sheepish look on her face as she stood against the door. 'I'm sorry?'. 'You're sorry? Look at my skin' she said pointing to the dark marks on her neck and chest 'how am I suppose to cover this?'. 'What can I say you taste delicious' Toni tried to use her charm to get out of her telling off. 'Nope you are not talking your way out of this one' Cheryl shook her head 'I'm a respectable business woman and I'm covered in hickeys like some teenager'. 'I think you look sexy' Toni smirked 'let me make it up to you' she said as she stepped forward. Cheryl held her hand against Toni's chest as she reached her 'no way, you've done more than enough'. 'Are you really mad?' Toni said taking a step back with a slightly sad look on her face. 'Urgh how can I be mad at you when you're looking at me like that' Cheryl rolled her eyes. 'Great' Toni smirked 'because I know you loved it'. 'Oh my god' the redhead said shaking her head 'I'm going to take a bath and you babe are not invited to join'. 'What? Why?' Toni frowned as Cheryl turned her around and guided her out of the bathroom. 'I hope you know what you're missing' the redhead smirked as she let Toni take one more look at her body before closing the door.

Toni lingered for a moment before realising that Cheryl was serious, with a smile she picked up her phone as she headed towards the spare bedroom accepting her punishment to bathe alone. She ran herself a bubble bath while she sent a quick message to Sweet Pea checking in on them all before stepping inside the tub as the water filled up around her. She breathed out as she relaxed into the water thinking about the night she had shared with her girlfriend. As she thought about how smug Cheryl looked as she closed the bathroom door on her she got an idea. She picked up her phone taking a picture of her bare chest covered in bubbles also showing her plump lips but not her face, just enough to let the redhead know what she was missing. She sent it along with 'I hope you know what you're missing. Cheryl wouldn't get the message until she went back into her bedroom but Toni planned on waiting it out longer locking the door purposely to tease the other woman. She placed her phone on the side of the bath as she closed her eyes with a smile on her face.

The ping of her phone woke her from her unintentional nap in the tub. She reached for it her face morphing into a smile as she saw the message from the redhead.

The photo is very hot btw and now I'm kinda mad at myself.

Toni just laughed to herself as she read the messages from Cheryl, she felt victorious to say the least as she relaxed in the bath feeling completely satisfied from last night. She washed her hair just for good measure before feeling like she had left the redhead long enough and getting out. She wrapped her head and body in a towel before cleaning up her mess in the bathroom. Once she was happy the room was how she found it she made her way back to Cheryl's bedroom. When she opened the door she saw the redhead laid on her bed with wet hair and her silk pyjamas on. 'Hey gorgeous' Toni smiled walking towards her bag to pull out her T-shirt and underwear. She dropped the towel revealing herself to Cheryl who sat on the bed watching with a smirk on her face before changing into what she called her pyjamas. She moved to the empty side of the bed leaning back without a word as she pretended to be interested in whatever the redhead had playing on the tv. Cheryl eyed her as she opened her mouth to speak 'what are you doing?'. 'I'm watching tv' Toni shrugged not moving her eyes. Toni challenged and teased Cheryl more than anyone ever had, it just left the redhead wanting more. 'Well don't I at least get a cuddle?' Cheryl pouted. 'I thought I was in the doghouse' Toni smirked causing the redhead to let out a breath. 'Well you are no longer in the doghouse so come cuddle me' Cheryl whined. 'Hmm I don't know Cher, I did leave a lot of marks' Toni teased still not looking at her girlfriend. 'TT stop, I know what you're doing'. 'I'm not doing anything but teaching myself a lesson babe'. Cheryl placed a kiss on Toni's cheek, no reaction. She then planted one on her lips, still no reaction. Cheryl was craving her attention now and she didn't like that she was being denied it. The redhead sat back in a huff crossing her arms like a spoilt child. 'I'm just kidding babe come here' Toni smiled pulling her girl towards her who pretended to put up a fight lasting about three seconds before she melted into Toni's touch.

The couple laid there comfortably watching movies after ordering some dinner but they knew their time together would soon be coming to an end. 'I should go soon' Toni whispered as the redhead laid against her chest. Cheryl felt her heart drop, she didn't want Toni to leave but she knew they didn't have a choice. 'Just another half an hour together?' Cheryl whispered. 'Okay babe' Toni smiled running a hand through Cheryl's red hair. When the movie had finished the redhead sat up not wanting to make Toni leaving any harder than it already felt. Toni took that as her cue to also get up, she stretched her body as she stood. She put on her jeans leaving on the t-shirt she was already wearing. 'You okay babe?' Toni asked as she took in Cheryl's face. 'I am, I'm just going to miss you that's all'. 'Come with me?' Toni shrugged. 'What?' the redhead questioned. 'Come stay at my place, you'll have to share a bed with Tommy and I but I'm sure you'll fit' Toni smiled. 'I don't want to get in the way' Cheryl said. 'Babe you'd never be in the way, come on I'm sure Tommy would love to see you'. 'Okay TT if you're sure'. 'Of course I am, get dressed'.

Toni followed Cheryl back to her apartment on Sweet Peas bike, she was glad her girlfriend was coming back with her, she missed her when they wasn't together. She had really enjoyed spending the weekend with Cheryl, even after the little argument in the bathroom, luckily her face hadn't bruised. Cheryl was worth it though, she had never felt like this for anyone and she hoped the redhead felt the same way for her. The fact Cheryl had actually trusted her enough to get on the back of the bike meant a lot to Toni, she felt free with the redhead, like she didn't have to hide any part of her. And the way Cheryl was with her son made her heart melt, they had such a special bond already, it was so nice for her to watch them together. Tommy brought Cheryl out of her shell, made her more open even just to silly things she would have never done before. She knew Cheryl would protect and be there for Tommy too, just like she had when they went to meet her brothers. Cheryl didn't have to do that but she did for her and for her son. Toni breathed out as she pulled up next to Cheryl looking at her as she got out of the car with a bright smile, she didn't want to think about the L word yet but she felt it in her soul, she was sure of it.
