Cheryl couldn't wait for Toni to get home when she woke up the next morning, what Tommy had said played on her mind all night and she needed to get it off her chest the moment she was alone with her fiancé. She'd busied herself the night before with cleaning the kitchen and the lounge so she didn't have to do it the next day. Tommy had spent the morning playing in his room after his breakfast and Cheryl had sat on the couch mindlessly scrolling through her phone. Earlier than expected though the redhead heard the sound of Toni's motorcycle on the drive before the front door swung open.

'I'm home,' Toni grinned. Cheryl stood up and ran to her embracing her as quickly as she could. 'I've missed you,' Cheryl held on until she heard Tommy running down the stairs. 'I've missed you too,' Toni smiled placing a kiss on Cheryl's cheek before pulling away and picking up their son. 'Did you have a good time with Mama?' Toni asked as she held the little boy close. 'I had the best time, we missed you though,' Tommy smiled sweetly. 'I missed you both too,' Toni said as she placed a kiss on his cheek before placing him back down on the ground.

'So, how was your trip?' Cheryl asked. 'It was good,' Toni nodded not wanting to say too much in front of their son. 'Would you like to go to Pops for lunch, my treat?' Toni asked causing Tommy to squeal with delight. 'I'll take that as a yes then,' Toni giggled before picking up her bag and heading upstairs. Tommy ran into his own room after Toni told him to pick out some clothes while the couple headed to theirs.

'You okay baby? You seem quiet,' Toni asked as Cheryl sat down on the bed. 'I need to talk to you about something'. 'Oh,' Toni said, she had a bad feeling about this. 'Are you having second thoughts about the wedding?' Toni asked nervously as she took a seat next to the redhead. 'No of course not TT, I actually wanted to tell you about something Tommy said to me last night,' Cheryl shuffled in her seat. 'Okay, what is it?' Toni asked, she was relieved that Cheryl wasn't haven't second thoughts but she was also wondering was Tommy could have said to make the redhead seem so nervous to tell her.

'He told me that a girl at school told him when people get married they have babies...' Cheryl stopped to look at her wife. 'Okay well that can be true but why do you look so worried?' Toni asked. 'Because he was scared that I wouldn't love him anymore if we had another child,' Cheryl said sadly. 'And what did you say to him?' Toni asked looking at the woman next to her. 'I told him that even though I wasn't there for the first part of his life he's still my son and that he'll always be our first baby,' Cheryl smiled a little as she spoke.

'And was he happy with that answer?' Toni smiled as she took her fiancés hand. 'I think so,' Cheryl nodded. 'I'm glad he's comfortable in talking to you about his worries,' Toni smiled, 'and thank you for reassuring him'. 'Of course Toni, his feelings will always come first,' Cheryl said. 'I love you,' Toni grinned as she leaned in and placed a kiss on the redheads lips. 'I love you,' Cheryl smiled into the kiss.

'So did you have fun at the bar?' Cheryl asked with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. 'If you're talking about the dancers, yes it was fun,' Toni laughed, 'I told Sweet Pea that you were going to kill him but he informed me he had your permission'. 'He did,' Cheryl nodded with a smile, 'I don't mind as long as you still want to marry me'. 'Of course I do and just so you know those girls had nothing on you,' Toni winked. 'Yeah, yeah,' Cheryl laughed. 'I'm serious, I thought about you the whole time. No one has ever made me feel the way you do, no one has ever made my body feel things the way you do,' Toni said as she straddled her fiancés lap.

'Really?' Cheryl played along with a raised eyebrow. 'Really,' Toni confirmed, 'you are the sexiest woman I've ever seen and tonight I'm gonna show you how much I've missed you'. Cheryl's eyes were dark with lust, she didn't want to wait until tonight but their son was in the other room and he could walk in at any moment. Toni pushed her body against the redhead placing her hands on her cheeks while she passionately kissed her. Before it could go too far though Toni pulled away with a knowing smile on her face as she stood up. 'To be continued,' the brunette winked before heading out of their bedroom leaving the redhead trying to catch her breath, no one had ever made her feel the way Toni does.

Cheryl gathered herself before leaving the bedroom and heading downstairs to her family who were waiting for her. 'Ready to go?' Toni asked. 'Yep,' Cheryl nodded as she followed them out of the house and into Cheryl's red car. Toni offered to drive which gladly Cheryl accepted and they happily headed to Pops together. 'Mama when do you have to go away with Aunt Ronnie?' Tommy asked from his seat in the back of the car. 'I go next weekend sweetheart,' Cheryl said as she turned around. 'What are you going to do?' Tommy asked. 'Yeah Mama, what are you going to do?' Toni teased. Cheryl looked at her fiancé with a smile, 'I have no idea, I left Veronica to plan it although I may regret it now'. 'I'm sure you'll have fun whatever she has planned babe,' Toni said with a smile.

Tommy happily skipped in front when they arrived at Pops car park. Cheryl watched him with a smile, she really adored him and Toni loved that. She never dreamed that someone would love her son as much as she did and she felt blessed that she found someone who did. The bell above the door giggled as they entered the diner. 'Hi little man,' Pops smiled from behind the bar. 'Hi Pop,' Tommy waved happily as he went to find a seat. 'How are you Pop?' Toni asked as she reached the counter. 'I'm doing well Toni, how are you both?' Pops asked looking between the women. 'We're amazing,' Toni said as she smiled sweetly at Cheryl. 'That's good to hear,' Pops said, 'what can I get for you?' Cheryl and Toni gave Pops their order before taking a seat with their son.

'I'm glad we're back together again,' Tommy said. 'Me too,' his moms said at the same time. They thanked the waitress when she brought over their food before digging in. 'Mama said someone at school said something that upset you, do you want to talk about it?' Toni said as she looked at their son. Tommy shuffled in his seat before shrugging. 'You know how much we love you right?' Toni said and Tommy nodded. 'I was just worried about Mama not loving me anymore if you have another baby but she said she would'. 'Of course she would and don't you think it would be so exciting to have a little brother or sister?' Toni smiled. 'Yes!' Tommy said loudly, his mood changing back to his happy self. Toni was glad, she just wanted to check in with him to make sure he'd gotten everything off his chest.

They enjoyed a meal together before heading home for the rest of the day, deciding on watching movies in their pyjamas until Tommy fell asleep on the couch in the middle of them. 'We should get him to bed,' Toni whispered. 'Yeah, you take him I'll turn everything off,' Cheryl said as she quietly stood up. Toni picked up Tommy as carefully as she could, 'he's getting heavy'. Cheryl offered her a smile as she nodded, 'he is'. The redhead turned everything off once Toni headed to the stairs, she was glad Toni was home.

When Cheryl got into their bedroom it was still dark so she assumed Toni was still tucking Tommy in. She switched on the lamp as she pulled back the comforter. 'Hey,' Toni whispered into Cheryl's ear as she wrapped her arms around her from behind. 'Hey,' Cheryl said as she leant her head back. 'Maybe we can pick up where we left off?' Toni said turning the redhead around to face her. 'I'd love that,' Cheryl whispered as she pulled Toni in for a kiss that quickly got heated. They fell on their bed together as they showed the other how much they'd miss each other until they fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
